So good
I won’t lie, it was a quick and interesting read. I wished there was more, can’t recommend fast enough.

Good introduction to the world, but the novella does feel a little rushed. Not the biggest fan of the male narrator his voice is kind of echoey. Reads a little like fanfic. The smut is a bit funny to hear. The wording isn’t quite what I’m used to “her deepest place” always makes me laugh. Jumps from “oh goddess” to “oh god” a lot which doesn’t make sense to me usually it’s either one or the other. All in all this wasn’t to bad! It made me laugh, it made me go awwww good intro to this series I think. I received an advance review copy of the audiobook for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Slow Beginning
Slow beginning it took a while to get into it.
This book started off very slow for me and took me a while to get into. Although it was a novella it felt ages long. Overall I did enjoy the story but was left wanting more details and excitement. The love story was a cute story but also very predictable. When I started the book I felt as though I was reading a juvenile fiction book until the spice was involved solely based on the vocabulary used throughout the book. It was an easy read and I will be reading more of her books and more of this series but it was not my absolute favorite.
