    This book felt faster than usual, perhaps because I read it faster...or perhaps because Scarlett just doesn't mess around. The authors created a character who finds what she wants, makes a plan, and gets to it. Staying true to her character, she doesn't waste time with drawn out miscommunications, or pining away. She has an emotion, she processes it, then she tackles whatever problem faces her. It's refreshing in a character and it's relatable for me personally.
    Now, the other half of our couple is an excellent example of how to write a neurodivergant character without fetishizing them. There were plenty of fetishes in this story, and it was thankfully free of harmful ones.
    Did the misunderstanding/communication trope get used? A bit, but it wasn't done to death and didn't drag out frustratingly, instead it worked like misunderstandings do in real life...it got talked out and worked through.
    The dating anonymously while unwittingly crushing on each other irl was freaking adorable and hilarious. I usually love these books, but I can't think of another by these authors that made me laugh so much!
    The humor was subtle and built slowly, even as the sexual tension flared and grew rapidly like wildfire.
    The main and side characters were really interesting, and just the right amount of book one bled into it as book three was set up.

    Well, now we know so much more about Scarlett Black! She was in the first book and piqued my interest at that time. Although this is a stand alone book, it certainly enhances her character. When she meets Isabel, bells kind of start ringing. Then when she meets Beauty (on line), bells really start pealing. I very much enjoyed the two as they got to know each other without actually meeting. I loved how Isabel is so dedicated to her job. I loved how Scarlett is so dedicated to making her father proud of her. The story unfolds just perfectly. It was a real treat at the end of the book when they had their first "real" date. This is a book not to be missed. When these two authors get their writing talents together the reader absolutely expects just what was experienced with this book. Loved everything and many thanks to both authors for sharing their words with us. Looking forward to the youngest sister's story.

    I loved Isabelle’s character with shy and submissive/naive tendencies. Scarlett was a bit more ups and downs with her domination role. Sometimes i think she was a bit neutral and the pace was a bit fast for it all. But loved the clubs and toys and sensuality. The bdsm was really immediate in the relationship. I guess Isabelle gets what she wants off the bat. I think there should have been a few mistakes made about it though. Not so clean as a whistle. That said, great read, i would def buy again. Will look for other books by these two.

    Loving the series!!

    I knew from the first book that Scarlett was having problems w/her then-fiancée. What I didn't know was her alternate lifestyle. She was depicted as a straight-laced, uptight, perfect daughter. In this story, she has more heart. Then she meets Isabel (Beauty), and things start to heat up! I enjoyed the anonymity of it all - made it more exciting when they figured each other out.

    The story for this was fine. It followed a similar formula as book 1 as far as the story arc, but that was ok.

    My issue is that one of the MCs is autistic, but that’s not really built into the story so it seems like cheap addition. There are a few references in the first ~1/3 that elude to some social struggles, but once she shares her story not another mention of a struggle despite the life altering changes.
