    This is the first book I’ve read by Rose Pearson, and it was a complete delight. The book is precisely what I want in a regency romance. The book is clean and yet full of romance. The author describes true love in a way that makes me feel like she would be a kindred spirit of mine, powerful, life altering, and pure. I particularly love the honor of the two main characters. Honor and morality are something that are often neglected in media, but Rose created two protagonists who are noble, trustworthy, and compassionate.

    Overall, I was very satisfied with this book. I think Rose did a wonderful job of creating an immersive regency world, a wonderfully heartwarming romance, and protagonists that we all should aspire to due to their gentle hearted nobility. I’m quite glad Rose is such a prolific author, because I’m certainly looking forward to reading more of her work!

    This book is part of a series and probably should be read as such to understand some of the other characters in the story. The hero has been deceitfully stripped of most of his fortune. I have to commend the author for coming up with so many different ways these men have been cheated out of their money. The heroine is very stubborn and persistent in not accepting the hero’s feeble excuses for trying to end their relationship. Once he opens up to her, we have some progress in getting his money back. This is a quick, sweet read.

    Emma a beautiful women finds a strong attraction to Lord Henry, who is one of he most desirable available men. He also shows interest in her. But then all of the sudden he says he must return to his estate and she should forget about him. Well this lord has not realized the singlemindedness and determination of this lady and finds out she is a match for him. He mysteriously looses the bulk of his fortune and feels marriage is not out of his reach, but doesn't tell Emma. When he returns to London Emma pursues him to find out what happened. So if you want to know what happens and if there is a happily ever after for them, get the book now. I did thoroughly enjoy this book and do recommend it.

    The theme is the same in this series. Friends are lead to a club and each finds their fortunes gone. The only common thread, they all lose their money but to different people. It's getting a little repetitive for me. The friends do go about getting their fortunes back differently. This is a stand alone story.

    I liked the honesty of the H but at times the h was too forthright in not taking no for an answer.

    This is a clean story, no cliffhanger, no cheating, HEA and clean. I can't improve on the blurb just giving you some other tidbits. (ljb)

    “Their Forgotten Love” by Rose Pearson
    This is book 5 in the Lost fortunes, Found Love series. Each story in this series is a little bit different and a whole lot alike. I enjoyed this story but I never got caught up in the emotions of the characters, rather like the difference between reading a play and watching that play well played on the stage. It is a good clean story. It can be read as a stand a-lone but probably an even better story if you have first read book 1 of the series. Happy Reading ! !

    Lord Thornbridge has lost his fortune and now must push Lady Emma away. He had not expected her stubborn refusal to be pushed apart. Another story about evil, greedy men and what they are capable. Thank goodness it's about good, honorable men and what they decide to do to regain their fortune. Of course I enjoyed the happy ending.
