Nigel May has written and published eight novels so far crossing various different genres. He is an all-rounder in the entertainment world working as an author, TV and radio host.

He has hosted on the UK's leading craft TV channel, Create And Craft TV, for many years and has established himself as a firm viewer favourite. On radio he hosts a weekly national radio show on Gaydio called Wrapping Up The Weekend interviewing celebrities from around the world.

His six page-turning glam fiction novels have all been published by Bookouture. As a glam fiction author he has been described as "the UK's male Jackie Collins" and "the readers' Viagra".

His first glam fiction novel was TRINITY, an action-packed blockbuster (or bonkbuster) about the lives of the rich and famous and three young women at the heart of it. Glamour, beauty, fame and celebrity mix with murder, intrigue and danger to create an explosive novel which gained incredible reviews and fans across the globe.

The glitz-meets-grit whodunit ADDICTED was another huge success and once again dived into the diamond-dipped world of the mega-rich as four women face their demons. But all of the money and celebrity fame in the world do not guarantee a happy ending. Especially for one of them...

SCANDALOUS LIES is steeped in secrets, sin, sex and scandal and takes readers around the world as a mysterious celebrity disappearance is investigated. Will weathergirl Georgia be able to find out what is behind her best friend's inexplicable vanishing before it's too late?

Spicy crime on overload for DEADLY OBSESSION, a gritty and glamorous psychological tale set in gangland Manchester that is dynamic and thrilling in all areas to the very last page. When Amy sees her husband gunned down at their nightclub, The Kitty Kat Club, she faces life as a young widow. But then six months later, a letter arrives from beyond the grave...

LOVERS AND LIARS is a truly tropical burst of storytelling where money and sex go hand in hand with murder. When Millionaire playboy Sheridan Rivers is found dead at his luxurious hotel on the paradise island of Barbados, there are several suspects in the frame. But who delivered the fatal blow?

Completing his sexy six-pack, REVENGE is a total page-turner. In the South of France, playground of the rich and famous, world renowned chef Dexter Franklin is organising a night to remember. As he opens the doors to his exclusive restaurant for the first time, he’s handpicked a list of guests, as hot and dazzling as the St Tropez sun itself. Three women have a past with Dexter and a grudge to bear against him. As fireworks ignite in the jet set capital of Europe, there’s murder on the menu. Who will be served their just desserts?

He has also written a psychological thriller called THE GIRL UNKNOWN. It's the story of Lucie Palmer, a girl attempting to rebuild her life, one that she has long believed to be cursed. To finally piece together the emptiness in her existence before it's too late. But it would appear that something or someone is determined to stop her for good.

His first cosy crime novel is called QUILLING ME SOFTLY, a mystery based around a craft group set in a sleepy English village. When one of the locals is found dead, at first everyone assumes it is down to old age. Everyone, that is, except Violet Brewer, owner of the village wool shop, Brewer's Loop, who is certain that murder is on the cards.

His glam fiction books have been Amazon best sellers and chart toppers, read by celebrities and fellow authors alike, and have proved that a man can successfully write in a 'glam fiction bonkbuster world' that has always been a strongly female domain.

Nigel was also the only male writer amongst 44 authors featured in the chart-topping, beach-read anthology of short-stories SUNLOUNGER. He also contributed a short story to SUNLOUNGER 2.

He regularly presents on UK TV and has featured on Channel 4, C5, ITV and broadcast live from America. He is also one of the UK's most popular craft personalities, having launched his own successful range, A-May-Zing and was named Male Crafting Personality in the Crafts Beautiful Awards.

As a showbiz writer he has written for many of the UK's most successful magazines and newspapers, specialising in showbiz and celebrity, as well as writing on subjects ranging from relationships through to exotic travel.

He lives in Brighton and his hobbies include theatre, keep fit, Eurovision, the '80s, retro soap opera, flea markets and flaunting the body positive.

A story of three diverse women who have been friends since school. Each has a riveting story which interlocks with the other two. A very good read.

I quite enjoyed this book, my first from Nigel May - very much a Jackie Collins type of book!!

The novel started gently, getting you familiar with the characters, before it started to rev up, there were times that l wanted to grab hold of some of the characters and throttle them to wake them up (l got so involved in the plots). The second half of the book really hit it's straps and l found it hard to put down. I've recommended this novel to several of my "bookie" friends.

I had the great pleasure of meeting Nigel in Las Vegas in July. When I learned of the book I downloaded it immediately but did not get an opportunity to read it until I was in Alaska recently. The entire time I was reading it, it was as if Nigel was reading it to me, I could hear his voice in my head. I just loved it ..... more please!!!

This is pretty much just overly-detailed nonsense that is beyond predictable. That being said, don't waste your time. There are many, many better novels out there.

5.0 out of 5 stars Trinity ? Nooooooooooooooooo!! How wrong I was !!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on June 15, 2014
Review - “Trinity” by Nigel May

There was nothing that was going to persuade me to read “ Trinity”. The more I heard and read about it the less likely it became that I would ever pick it up and actually get past the first few pages. What do I read by choice ? Thrillers. Mystery. Crime novels. Autobiographies. NOT trinityesque, chicklitesque pulp fiction!!!!
    Sorry, Nigel May.
Just very much NOT for me.
That is until I actually picked it up and read it and found that it was, in every respect, a damn good read. I had my escapism, murder, feuds, intrigue in abundance.
Nigel May is a wordsmith par excellence and he paints vivid pictures expressively and economically. No skipping of pages because of boredom here.
I loved the way in which Nigel gave just enough description and detail which then enabled the reader the use of the imagination.
The story is like a tapestry, appropriate to this doyen of the Create and Craft Channel, with intriguing twists and turns in the plot and the larger than life ( yet believable) characters. Nigel understands people. He has empathy, too, and he cares about his characters and how they interact.
A bonkbuster ? That cheapens it but the sex scenes are fun but far from sordid. His natural humour comes through, too – sharp, dry and pithy – carrying one through effortlessly in what very quickly became an entertaining and exciting page turner.
Thank you, Nigel for a great read !!!! Certainly a talented author with, I feel sure, a very exciting future !!

4.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable first book.

Enjoyed this book, although it's probably not something I would have read if I hadn't known the author from his TV appearances. The characters were nicely "fleshed out", and the story was well thought out and written. My only moan is that it went from one story line into another with no break in the writing, which I found a bit confusing as I had to re-read the last bit to get my bearings. But a minor moan, as I did enjoy the book, and await the next offering from Nigel May, as I'm sure he has more to give us.

5.0 out of 5 stars Only let down was the end of the book

I only discovered this book as I follow the author on Twitter. Nigel May is a terrific presenter on Create and Craft TV and this is his debut novel. I am not a lover of the chick lit genre but this publication had me intrigued by what this novel was like AND I like to support people I like.

This book is terrific. It has a great set of strong characters who pull no punches and Nigel brings his expert career knowledge into play during this rip-roaring read. Strong female characters, strong male characters and a plot which you can believe in. You would NOT expect this from a male author would you. I laughed at some points and I stunned at others. The book is fast paced, twisting and turning, and never-failing to keep this reader hooked. It takes quite a lot to keep me reading on and on and I was sad when I came to the end (and I laughed at the ending, really was quite unexpected and funny in a way). I am not sure whether Nigel can follow on with these characters but if he can write another novel with them I shall be there pre ordering. I am sure one of the characters in this novel can star in their own novel. One thing is for sure, I do NOT want Nigel to stop writing, he is a refreshing new author that I would like to read more from!!

just one little negative comment which has nothing to do with the content/plot of the book

Only problem I had with this was the fact that there were some spelling mistakes in the download and the chapter structure seemed out of sync with other books I have downloaded, I am not sure if this is to do with it being kindle only or another problem. I will say that I read one review which made a comment about this but I felt it unfair to knock stars off this, its purely a publishing thing! I have read novels on kindle which have had spelling mistakes and they are established authors

3.0 out of 5 stars More drama than your mama!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on July 1, 2013
Trinity was probably one of the most addicting reads for me so far this year-it was like watching your favourite soap opera and reality show rolled into one glittering ball of insane goodness. With more twists and turns than the most memorable episodes of The Young and the Restless and As the World Turns combined, Nigel May's Trinity had me scandalised and thoroughly entertained from the first to the last page. I can definitely see why Trinity appeals to fans of Victoria Fox and Tasmina Perry and indeed the authors themselves!

May's novel features a host of intriguingly sinful characters-both the main and secondary characters were brilliantly written. I actually found myself enjoying some of the stories of the supporting characters more than anything else, particularly that of Regan's mother, Montana. I just found her (and Lawrence!) to be such horrible people that I couldn't get enough of them. Funny how that works.

There's a fair bit of sex in Trinity but it's not over the top and on every other page. It's realistic without losing its sexiness-always good! I wasn't cringing at the couplings and dirty talk-not an easy feat. And a bonkbuster written by a man! Revolutionary!

My only issue was that there were a few spelling/grammatical errors that were overlooked. I understand that May is now going to correct these errors in the Kindle version; at the end of the day the story and characters were so enjoyable that the mistakes didn't detract from the book. I'm eager to see what May comes up with next.

If you like your fiction sexy, sweaty and full of intrigue, Trinity is definitely the book for you this summer.

    Trinity
Well I have just finished reading Nigel May's bestselling Trinity! One of the quickest reads I have had for a long time and also one of the most enjoyable. The characters are all full on and with not too much imagination one could relate their escapades to more than one "Celebrity" in the news on a daily basis. Some good twists and turns, some expected and some definitely not so and a brilliant "set up" towards the end.
Nigel I can't wait to read your next novel - I hope it is as good.
On the downside, I do have to agree with another review on here - the proof reading did leave a lot to be desired in places - I knew what was supposed to be written but it does put you off your stride when you spot something which is glaringly obviously wrong. It is a shame because although it didn't spoil the story it did take the edge of what was a brilliant first novel. Keep up the good work Nigel. Maybe each of your next three books could follow each of the three main characters - maybe heading towards an ultimate explosive fifth book where they all come back together for one exciting finale?? Can't wait. Thank you Nigel for providing me with a fabulous read on my holiday.
