About the author

I’ve been an avid reader for as long as I can remember. I still remember one of the first books I read, it was the Bobbsey Twins. As I got older, I moved into the more interesting books, but some of the typo’s made me nuts! So, after contacting writers I started a career of where I began content editing (I am no good with grammar), beta reading and brainstorming. After being harassed for a couple of years by some of the writers, I gave in and have now begun to write.
I live in central Canada with my hubby of over 25 years, 4 kids, and 5 grandkids. We have a collection of pets, including our guard cat. I love nothing more than curling up with a good book (much to hubby's frustration), or my laptop to work on the next thing that catches the muse.
I would love to hear from readers, you can find me at https://authordanigray.blogspot.ca/

- Reviewed in the United States on February 18, 2022Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI absolutely loved how Lucas without pause rescued the injured animal which turns out to be much more. The added suspense of taking back a kingdom under siege with a dose of love and romance completes a must read for me. I recommend this book by Dani Gray.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 11, 2022Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThe two main characters, Rafael and Lucas, were wonderful, loving, guardians to their niece and nephew (future king of dragon clan). Lucas had known nothing about shifters but soon he had to come to the realization that his whole world was not what he thought it was. There was danger, friendship, sadness (tugged at my heart) and also love and family. I loved the style of writing and the story was captivating. It definitely captured my heart. :)
- Reviewed in the United States on February 10, 2022Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis fast paced read was all about the feels. Two people finding each other and building a family. The good guys of course triumphed over evil.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 15, 2022Format: KindleVerified PurchaseAgree with previous comment. Great storyline but needs more fleshing out. It felt rushed.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2022Format: KindleVerified PurchaseOk the plot is all right, but predictable. The true problem is that it is to short for the plot. There are about 100 pages that need to be added to flesh out the story and make it work. The really irratating thing is that fyrst both protagonists talk about taking their time getting to know each other before mating. Roughly two chapters later they are mated....🙄... 🙈
- Reviewed in the United States on January 26, 2022Format: KindleCute read! Elliot is found in his dragon form by Lucas and his niece Sarah. They take him home where he changes into a little boy. Rafael is the prince of the Shadowridge Clan and has just lost his brother, sister-in-law, the king and queen. He thinks he’s also lost Elliott until he contacts his uncle. When he arrives at Lucas’s, he realizes that Lucas is his mate. There’s action, adventure and intrigue. I loved all the side characters! I’m hoping Diego and Tristan get their own story! Overall, a great read. The story kept me engaged and was well written, the pacing flowed smoothly, highly recommend. I’m voluntarily reviewing from an advanced copy that I received. My review is solely based on my thoughts and opinions.

3.0 out of 5 stars 3.5 stars
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI am sorry to say I struggled with this story. I felt there was a lot of unnecessary information, the author seemed to write down every move made. I also found some dialogue to be a bit repetitive. Rafael came across as a bit thick headed, but then he was organising with military to reclaim the castle.
I also didn't feel any connection between the MC's. I was very disappointed because this could have been a great book, but just fell flat for me ☹️

4.0 out of 5 stars great story
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI enjoyed this story, and I simply adore little Elliot and Sarah. Lucas and Raphael have their work cut out for them trying to keep Elliot safe and rescuing Raphael’s clan.

2.0 out of 5 stars Wish I could give more stars
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI liked the concept and I did read to the end, I quite enjoyed the plot, but sadly the writing just wasn't up to scratch.
Not only were there jarring issues where sentences didn't follow right, or were missing bits, but the general writing was just very basic: very little world building, no emotional build up, little descriptive prose, all a bit wooden and stilted . Not that I could do any better, but it wouldn't be fair on the other authors to rate it higher.
I like the authors idea, I hope they keep working at it and find their own style.
