About the authors
Lisa began weaving intricate stories inside her head early, but these days her words find themselves bursting forth in the forms of flash fiction, short stories, and novels.
She's a sensory writer and delves into sensitive subjects that will lift your spirit and steal your heart, and conjures worlds of fantasy and post-apocalypse which will ignite your imagination.
Lisa was born and raised in vibrant Brighton, England, and living by the ocean heavily influenced her lyrical and emotional writing. She works with the senses, description, and colour, and her readers will easily visualise the narrative. She draws inspiration from her family, memory, and imagination. After she had her first of three children she and her family moved to Carmarthen, West Wales, a market town also rich in legend and lore.
She loves family time, walking in forests with their dog, watching waves crash on the beach, photography, crystals, art, and last but not least, writing.
'There’s nothing better than losing yourself inside your imagination...'

She lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband, daughter, and cats.
K. R. Smith is a retired Information Technology Specialist living in the Washington, D.C. area who now fills his time with writing, music, and the visual arts. His writing mainly consists of short stories of the horror genre, though he occasionally delves into poetry and even songwriting. His hope is to add a novel to this list someday.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2019I’ve received a PDF.file copy of this book from the publisher when the book I’d won from them got it’s released pushed back several months; and the following is my honest opinion.
While I might be a romance author by nature, a TOP CONTRIBUTOR of True Crime books on Amazon, and am enthralled in reading/reviewing non-fiction Christian books. I’ve also got a passion for books of Flash Fiction, having already written an anthology containing 100 microfictions, five sentences long. And am getting ready to publish an anthology of 40 Christian flash fictions.
There’s something about the brevity of these extremely short stories. They all have a brevity that causes has no lack of completeness, for they’ve all got a beginning, a middle, and the all-important ending. They all possess the wondrous holiday spirit of family, love, and togetherness, sprinkled with the imagination of over forty stories, written by a bevy of almost as many authors, each with their unique style of writing.
Regardless of how your families observe and keep the holidays, reading this book with them and all of the tales it contains; might be able to add something special as you sit by your Christmas tree.
Given the above, I’ve given this anthology of Holiday Flash Fictions, the 5 STARS it has gotten from this reviewer.
