    The installment is mainly flashbacks, with a little action sprinkled in.
    Lee remembers how he came to work for Machielo. Durango remembers the love he had for her. Marx remembers his past including how he came into some of the power he has.
    Marx is revealed as the true enemy and all the vile things he has done in his past. He also gets a surprise blast from the past.

    This could have been a 5 star series, like another the author wrote, if it was written in a different way. As is, it is just all over the place. With just one more book to go, I am wandering how so many loose ends will get tied up.

    This is the 4th installment in the Talons & Claws series by Peggy Chan. Duango still wants the gem and also to free his brother. Machieho fought Duango to prevent the Tigers from getting near her home. During the fight both felt some of the love they used to feel and it distracted them. Machieho's father Marx was watching the fight when he felt a great surge of power. He found that the power came from his brother whom he thought had died years prior. I highly recommend this book to all paranormal romance readers.
