    I am just amazed every time I read one of Remington Kane's stories. He is brilliant! I get so engrossed in his stories that I don't want them to end. I find myself checking to see when his next one might be coming. If you have read any of his Tanner books, you'll understand. That also goes for his Taken series with Mr. White, his Jake Caliber series, Bluesteele series, to name a few, but many stories. This story though, it gets you right at the beginning and with Joe Pullo being involved you know it's going to be a great read! Joe Pullo is another man that is one of my favorites in this series. These stories just keep pulling you in with the dilemmas they face and the solutions that Tanner comes up with. I often wonder how the Author comes up with all this? I just hope he continues to do this as I will always be a devoted reader to Remington Kane

You know the good guys are going to win and the bad guys are going home in body bags. Tanner shows he is human and can get hurt, unlike other characters in other series where they get mangled or shot and two pages later they are fine. I enjoy this series and recommend it.

With an ending that will leave us with an obvious bridge to the next story because there will be lots of History to be discovered. Looking forward to the next Tanner book

    Tanner's involved working with an old friend, who's trying to get all the various gangs to work together instead of fighting and killing each other. Not every gang leader is in favor of such a melting pot and Tanner and Dante have their skills tested again and again in Chicago, New York, and even back in California by MS-13 leader, Zepeda. In the end, Tanner's efforts, along with Dante's are successful in that they're still living and the others aren't. Great read.

    The earlier tanner novels were more than point and shoot, rinse, repeat stories. The newer novels remind me of the early western movies you saw every month. They were b western serials with the same characters, plot line, and even scenery. You got one good guy, hoards of bad guys, and one rescue. The newer tanner novels follow that established format.
