Must read riveting dark romance
The third book in the series is enthralling and addictive. Sabella's character grows in this book. During this book it shows her strength and determination. But she invariably returns to the darkness and attraction between herself and Angelo. I felt that this book was about their feelings and redeeming their marriage because there is an abundance of miscommunication and mistrust between them. This is a must-read riveting and engaging storyline. The reader from the beginning until the last page of the story will be captivated.

    What to do when you love someone with so much hate, guilt, and resentment in your heart?
    In this book these elements are in play with Angelo and Sabella, they love each other so much that it hurts.
    Angelo is so blind and so immersed in his pain and making Sabella pay for faults that do not belong to her and he does not realize that the enemy is not her but his own environment. Sabella is willing to be Angelo's toy but without giving up her heart and soul since it belonged to her husband from the day she first saw him. He is her cold ocean, stormy and sinister, but he also gives her calm, peace and confidence. This third book is beautiful, it is not so dark, but it is the way to redemption. I think little by little both give in because they love each other.
    In this book we also learn a little more about Angelo and his family background, including his nephews, who will undoubtedly also becoming bond to Bella. This is Angelo and Bella's thread and it is not definitively broken... or will Angelo lose that little light that Sabella has for his darkness?
    From where will the redemption come? Is the forgiveness that we expect from this story going to come? Will Angelo either give in to his love for Sabella or the revenge for his family will be stronger than his love?

    I am feeling all kinds of emotions reading this book- anger, sadness, angst, understanding and not understanding the main characters actions, and so on. I’m on the last book in the series and I can’t wait to finish it. I did have a serious problem with the author not knowing how blood relatives are related though. The sister of the MMC’s mother is his aunt…any of her sister’s children are his COUSINS NOT HIS NIECE AND NEPHEWS. I think the author and the proofreader missed that but I don’t know how. That’s why I gave this book 4 stars

    Hatred is a dangerous thing. Sabella takes some advice for a lady she meet at a fundraiser. Fighting about everything is exhausting. Just go with the flow and watch what changes. Angelo blames her things she didn’t do. And he finally admits it to himself that he loves her. And she loves him at first sight. I enjoyed the book!!!! I can’t wait to find out Angelo and Sabella journey end. I recommend this books to readers who love dark Mafia Bratva romances like I do.

    I’ve loved almost all of Charmaine Paul’s previous books & series however this one personally has me quite disappointed. Events are just dragging and dragging since book 2, to a point I almost don’t want to even continue but I’ve forced myself thus far so want to know and hope but instead like other of her books in the past where I impatiently can’t wait to read and devour the books, this one has me dragging my feet almost reluctant to read. I really hope book 4 moves along and not just comes together at end after dragging whole time.
