When the Predator Becomes the Victim

Sara Jones, dead-set on wiping out organized crime, continues her quest to destroy an illegal drug plant in Albuquerque. But it’s been moved. Worse, a friend’s daughter disappeared along with the plant.

Tracking the new plant owner to Kansas City, Sara infiltrates his inner circle to gain information and uncovers a broader plot of murder and deceit. On a date with the owner’s nephew, Sara unexpectedly comes face-to-face with Conner Crussett, her crime boss boyfriend. He claims they have the same goal—to destroy the illicit plant. Last time he made that claim, things didn’t go well. Sara believes he has an ulterior motive for showing up in Kansas City.

Complicating an already dangerous game, word comes that an imprisoned Tegen, who blames Sara for her boyfriend’s death, has escaped. An enraged Tegen wanting revenge is capable of anything. Can Sara find the missing girl, destroy the illicit business and stop the vindictive Tegen?

Not sure that I enjoyed it as much as the previous Tegen books, but still a quick, fun read. I think she spent too much time going through how The main character got in and out of buildings, etc., and not enough time developing the storyline.

I hadn't read the previous books in this series, but that being said, it was still easy to catch on. The author's writing is fantastic! She really pays attention to detail which allows you to really visualize what is happening. This was a GREAT STORY with a strong female character and I love the unique abilities that the Tegens have. I look forward to going back and reading the previous books. Can't wait for the next one!

This is a standalone book, but I think I would have enjoyed it much more if I had read the previous books in the series. The first part of the book threw a lot of characters and a lot of information at the reader and it took a while to figure out what was happening. And, honestly, I never did understand a lot of the Tegen aspect.

That being said, the book was full of action, suspense and romance and was an easy read. There was a touch of mafia and drug cartel activity and enough of the supernatural for fans of that genre. All in all, I would recommend that if you like this type of book, it would be best to start at the beginning. In fact, I plan to go back and read the earlier books in the series since this one was well-written and enjoyable.

I was given the chance to read this book though ARC Anonymous and chose to review it.

This was my first-time reading Inge-Lise books. I hate to say I started out with book 5 in the Tegen’s series. I had not read any of the others, so I started with a slight disadvantage. Inge-Lise has impressed me with this well written story about a young woman trying to rid the world of opioid production. Not really a paranormal fan but the characters are amazing, and the story line kept me flipping the pages. Sarah Jones is human in features but have spider like abilities. Conner Crussett is her crime boss boyfriend who is good and bad. This book is very quick paced and has suspense, drama, romance. Really this book has it all. Ptacek with ARC anonymous.

I loved this series and it's no surprise that I loved the final book. I hate that it's over though. The characters are amazing and the story line kept me flipping the pages. Every thing, every question, is wrapped up at the end. So sad it's over now. I can't wait to see what the author does next! If you love a suspense that keeps you on your toes, you'll love this story.

This is the first book in this series i've read, and i think i should have at the beginning of the series for a much deeper knowledge before i got to book 5. Just saying but I found Tegan Abduction to be a well written story. The characters really stand out. The story is very fast moving. it keeps you in grossed, its very hard to put down. You just have to see what happens next. I think I need to go back and read the rest of the series..Should be on you TBR list if its not. Add it you wont be disappointed.
