A Charming and Powerful Read for Artists and Entrepreneurs Alike
This delicious book is full of wise perspective (and some wise cracks too, which I LOVE) for anyone that gets paid for creating. While the author directs the book at artists, the thoughts and methodology apply to any entrepreneur. Before you agree to do a job, make sure you understand the details and that it’s a good fit for your skills and goals. SUCH a good reminder, and SUCH a lovely way to take it in. The book is a great size to throw in your purse to read while commuting, and is so cute, I plan to gift it to all my creative friends. What I really love are the pages sprinkled throughout that prompt you to write down your thoughts about what is discussed. It’s a beautifully illustrated book with some workbook vibes that packs a powerful plan for improving your business process in less than 50 pages. Just right for the attention span of busy creatives! I’ve never seen such a fun combo of reading, colorful graphics, interactive notes, and really good business advice!
