The Big Day: A completely twisty and unputdownable psychological thriller Kindle Edition
Two weeks until our dream wedding in the sun, his wife shows up on our doorstep.
I've finally met the man of my dreams. He is successful, generous and popped the perfect proposal. Our gorgeous wedding in Greece is all set. There's just one problem - his wife arrives in our home and won’t budge.
Scott told me he had never been married. That was a lie.
Dawn has nowhere else to go and a legal right to the beautiful house. It’s awkward beyond belief, but it's just for a day or two. Scott’s ex is all smiles and apologies. But when he leaves the room, she whispers to me that she won’t leave until the wedding is off.
Now, the days are ticking down to the big day. It’s like I have a shadow everywhere I go, eating my food and wearing my clothes. My possessions are going missing, too. And I fear Dawn is nearing the dark secret I’ve kept hidden all my life.
It is a disaster. But what Dawn and Scott don’t know is that I'm not who I say I am. And I will have my perfect wedding. No matter what.
The Big Day is a gripping psychological thriller that will leave page-turning readers unable to put it down until the final breathtaking twist. Fans of K.L Slater, Shalini Boland, Freida McFadden and Daniel Hurst will love the addictive twists and turns that will have them racing through the pages long into the night.

I didn’t see the end coming. It was quite a surprise.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2024This was a great read! It was a real page-turner and kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book. The main character (Sam) made me want to shake her because of how naïve she could be and the other main character (Dawn) was such a JERK! I really wanted to give this book 5 stars, but the ending was very abrupt....I wanted a chapter or two more to see what exactly happened with Dawn.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 5, 2024Praise for the book #TheBigDay by #RuthHarrow. This book is about a couple, Sam and Scott, who are excited for their wedding day in a couple of weeks. Out of the blue, Dawn, Scotts wife, shows up to cause some trouble and insists on staying with them. As Sam is aggravatedand harassed daily, she is starting to think things aren’t right. Who can she trust? Does somebody know her secret? I could not put this book down, and enjoyed all the crazy stuff going on. Highly recommend!.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 2, 2024I am so disappointed. I was quite enjoying it, despite Dawn making me anxious. It was an interesting plot with intriguing characters. However, the end was super abrupt - one of those moment where you look at the last page in confusion or just barely brake in time at a red light. I’m still not clear on who the villain was. It didn’t feel as though the character at the door at the end explained things convincingly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great storyline
Fantastic read, couldn't put it down. All of Ruth Harrows books are very easy to read, no confusion about characters and story line. This book no exception, always a twist in the plot. Not the lovely ending I'd hoped for, but leaves it to your imagination.

4.0 out of 5 stars OMG
A very interesting story, imagine your wedding coming up and the ex-wife (you did not know existed) turned up on the doorstep..... the mine boggles. I loved it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Too far fetched
I really enjoyed the book to begin with but it got a bit farcical and I found the ending abrupt.

5.0 out of 5 stars Seriously good
My first read by this author. Got it as it was advertised on Facebook for 99p. Often, I’m dead disappointed as these deals turn out to be mediocre. But this book was really very good. Although in parts it was predictable - it wasn’t quite what you thought. Quite a few interesting reveals. The ending was a suprise. I will definitely read more by this author.

2.0 out of 5 stars Predictable
It took me so long to read.
It wasn't twisty.
The woman was said to have a personality disorder. But no personality disorder fits the way she was acting so no previous research had been done. Took me ages to read.
