The Boy in the Forest (Awash with Summer Roses Book 2) Kindle Edition
The haunting trees lead me astray, a liar’s tongue that I hear play.
Avery has a dangerous secret.
He pretends to be this perfect angel, but he regularly sneaks into the town’s forbidden forest.
I’m the only one who knows, and I paid for it the night I followed him inside. There’s a reason the forest is forbidden. Ghost wolf, anyone?
Don’t worry. I survived. But I’m more confused than ever, and Avery isn’t forthcoming.
What’s it going to take to get him to talk?

About the author

Kestra Pingree is a creative who doesn’t know how to stop. They are first and foremost a writer and storyteller with an endless library of books in their head just waiting to be typed. They are also an artist and animator, as well as a singer, songwriter, and voice actor. One day they swear they’re going to make their own video game, too.
If it involves creating, they are there.
They can also be seen cuddling their cat, reading, or playing video games.

5.0 out of 5 stars A truly captivating read
As soon as I picked up the first book the girl in the garden I couldn't put it down, and just had to read this one, was definitely not disappointed. Wish there was another book to follow and another as would happily pay to read them, and engross myself in the books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good read
Nice conclusion to the story. The protagonist is very likeable, a little more edgy than others typically seen in this genre. I enjoyed it.
