    When Harrison gets a phone call that he has a son he didn’t know about AND that said son’s mother is in the hospital he immediately steps up to become super dad to sweet little Isaac. Unfortunately he also blackmails Isaac’s mother, Nora (last year’s week long spring fling) into marrying him or he will sue for full custody. Norrie and Harrison fight an uphill battle to find the common ground they need to make this fake marriage work- but will his trust issues and her abandonment issues stand in the way of happily ever after?

    I really enjoyed this book but I felt like the end was a bit rushed, I would have loved to see a little more of Harrison’s struggle to grow and also earn back Norrie’s trust.

    I will definitely continue the series to see what happens next!

    When someone tells you something often enough, whether it's true or not, you begin to believe it especially if it comes from a parent. It colors your whole life regardless of how much money, fame or fortune you have. L. Knight does a masterful job on digging deep into the fallout from the consequences of the emotional experiences, trauma and abuse in both Harrison Brooks and Nora Richards' early lives. Did I want to head slap Harrison more than once? Absolutely! Did I want to shake Norrie and tell her to stand up for herself? You betcha! Did I root for them as a couple start to finsh? OMG yes!

    I can hardly wait to read the rest of the upcoming books in this series. I find that I am fascinated by additional cast of characters.

    Harrison had the best week of his live, but he knew he could never love or be loved so he walked away. When he got a phone call that Nora was injured he wondered why, when he was asked to come care for his son he was shocked, one look and he knew he was his.
    Harrison didn’t believe in love, but he knew he loved his son and would do anything to keep him including forcing Nora to marry him.
    Nora couldn’t believe that Harrison wouldn’t listen to reason about why she didn’t contact him, they finally start to tell the truth after Nora finds out things from his friends. The only thing is Nora is keeping something from him and with it being so long she doesn’t know how he will react.
    Harrison knows that he has feelings for Nora, but it can’t be love no one could love him and he can’t love back. His friends keep saying he loves her but has he pushed her to far and lost the woman he knows he now loves.

    Harrison and Nora, what a ride that was!!

    Harrison is a workaholic who is made to go on holiday and spends a week with the crazy, chaotic, amazing Nora. Harry catches the feels quickly and freaks out and runs, only he left Nora with a wee surprise a little baby boy.

    Nora is left devastated when Harry leaves, but she throws herself into work only to find out she is pregnant. Does she tell Harry?
    No, Harry finds out when Nora nearly dies and he is called her sons next of kin.

    I absolutely fell head over heels for these 2, well 3, a wonderful wee family unit, not traditional, but sometimes that works until it really really doesn’t work.

    The themes and issues dealt with in this book are handled beautifully, so well written, not rushed, and really well thought out.

    Author L Knight has a fantastic talent. The Kings of ruin are completely dominating my head space, and I'm here for it.
