    Clever plot and a very good thriller. The story has all the essential elements of a good detective novel - intriguing plot, well defined characters, fast paced investigation, and an underlying mystery. 
    The author wastes no time and gets right to the plot in the first two chapters - a hit-and-run accident in the early morning hours of September 11th and followed by a woman walking into a police precinct to report her husband went missing on September 10th. From that point on, the story grabs your attention and never lets it go. The investigation narrative is top notch - one clue leading to another. I enjoyed the sequences between the lead detective Arya Martins and her partner Edgar James. The book brought back memories around 9/11 and the author did a good job capturing the mood and emotions of the nation well.
    If you like mystery and detective stories, this one is not to be missed. Highly recommend it and I look forward to future books in this series.
