5.0 out of 5 stars Oh my
So much better than the first one and I could not put it down. Not only that but I am starting the third straight after. Still some typos and odd sentences, but the story was amazing and now we are getting to the root of it all. Cant wait. What a way to spend a sunny afternoon.

Like with Book 1, I was glued to the book and it refused to let me go …. this story held my attention and imagination throughout. A really good yarn.

4.0 out of 5 stars A good read but would benefit from proof-reading
I enjoyed reading this book and its predecessor, but there were a fair few grammatical mistakes that should have been picked up by proof-reading or better editing. I noticed some plot howlers too: The pathologist, Dr Singh, remarked that the victim’s throat was cut from left to right, indicating a right-handed assailant; then, a page or two later, she said the opposite about the wound but still concluded it was a right-handed attacker. Also, Parson Christopher metamorphosed into Rev. Thomas briefly.
But, overall, great plot, decent characters and enjoyable to read. Well done!
