From the Author

You can travel around the whole world, but you'll never find anyone who deserves your love as much as you.
I've come to understand that we each have a story to tell; we each have survived difficult experiences. We're heroes of our own life story. And there's much we can learn from one another. I've spent hundreds of hours listening to women talk about the steps they took to heal themselves and then to love themselves. I've worked like a scientist in a laboratory, applying other women's tips, tools, and suggestions to improve my own situation. Every day I did the work. Every day I still do the work. Learning to love myself isn't something that happens overnight. This is a daily practice because life itself is a daily practice. Slowly, I began to feel I could not only love the woman I am but celebrate who I am.
This book is a compilation of all that I've learned that I want to pass on to you.
By loving yourself, you'll be able to tap into a deep reservoir of healing and power. You'll see that you're never alone. You'll understand that it doesn't matter who abandons you, because you'll learn to never abandon yourself. You'll be able to face any problem or crisis in life with a solid inner core, feeling as if the sun is always shining down upon you and you're channeling all the love in the Universe.
How do you achieve self-love? What does it look like? What does it feel like? How do you manifest it on a daily basis?
Loving yourself is:

    • The ability to say no to others and yes to yourself
      • Practicing self-care
      • Saying, "I'd rather do this" or "I'd rather not do that" instead of "I don't mind" or "I don't care"
      • Treating yourself with tenderness, the way you treat your puppy, kitten, child, or loved one
      • Standing in a crowd of people and not competing or comparing
      • Feeling content being you, even when your life is difficult
      • Filling your own well and not waiting for other people or outside things to fill it
By taking practical, concrete steps like these to love myself, I feel like I've escaped this murky darkness. My life has improved in ways that are better than I could have ever imagined. I've achieved some of the goals I once considered pipe dreams. I started my own business, wrote several books, and raised four children and two stepchildren. I used to think that all I could give my children was a legacy of sorrow and disappointment, but now I believe I gave them support, encouraging them to not only be themselves but to love themselves. Love that goes from ourselves and to ourselves: it's as simple as that.

      Game-changing guide to loving yourself
Game-Changing Guide for Loving Yourself There isn’t another self-love guide that combines both practical tools, heartfelt support and personal stories. Using examples from her own life, Diana Rachel Bletter inspires readers on their own journey. I liked her personal style. I felt like I was reading the words from a life coach or a wise elder. She encourages you to get moving and start each day to do things to love yourself. Take-aways: looking in the mirror and telling myself, “I love you.” It sounded weird at first but once I started doing it, I really did feel a better sense of connection with my inner self. There are lots of self-help books that have made me feel worse because I think I should be “better” instantly. What I’ve learned is that loving yourself is a practice that you have to do each day. It becomes a habit. The book was very well-written, earnest and sincere. Her encouraging words and very funny stories have enabled me to think about my past and move forward. I loved this book! As an avid reader who has delved
into numerous books on self-love and personal development, "The Loving Yourself Book for Women" stands out as an absolute gem. Written with compassion, wisdom, and a deep understanding of the struggles women face in embracing their worth, this book has truly touched my heart and transformed my perspective.

From the moment I started reading, I felt an instant connection with Diana Rachel Bletter's words. Her personal stories, relatable examples, and practical advice resonated with me on a profound level. It was as if she understood the complexities of my own journey towards self-love and offered guidance tailored specifically to my needs.

What sets this book apart is its unique blend of practical tools and heartfelt inspiration. Diana doesn't just preach about the importance of self-love; she provides a comprehensive roadmap, guiding us through exercises, reflection prompts, and actionable steps that can be incorporated into our daily lives. This book is not just about theory; it's about tangible transformation.

One aspect that particularly touched me is the author's emphasis on healing and embracing our past. Diana's insights into overcoming fear, self-doubt, and limiting beliefs have been instrumental in my own healing process. Her words have given me the courage to confront my past wounds, release self-imposed limitations, and step into my power as a woman.

Moreover, I appreciate the author's commitment to giving back. By donating a portion of the book's proceeds to AMEN, an organization supporting survivors of sexual abuse, Diana goes beyond mere words and exemplifies the true spirit of empathy and compassion.

I highly recommend "The Loving Yourself Book for Women" to every woman who is on a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and healing.

I really got a lot out of a quick read of this book, and I am planning to reread it with pen in hand and a nice, blank journal. The book is a combination of the author's own life reflections, sage advice, and questions to ponder that can bring about powerful self-awareness. I loved the author's humor, as well as her intuitive insights into conflict resolution, communication, and personal development. It's appropriate for women who are seeking a guide for reflection, going through life stage changes, or simply working on their own emotional development. For those who have experienced sexual trauma, this book may have an added level of depth as the author shares her experiences, healing, and growth related to childhood sexual trauma (not graphically described, but mentioned in helpful ways as related to triggers, emotional processing, and continued healing).

Note: I claimed a free promotional copy of this e-book to read, and I chose - based on my positive experience - to write a review of the content.
