    Like most people I know, we grew up in traditional American churches that taught that the Bible is true, God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, and we can depend on God thru his son, Jesus Christ, to supply all our needs. Yet in times of great illness, stress or addictions, most Christians behaved as though Bible did not seem to really apply. Satan was included in bibical discussion but spiritual warfare was barely mentioned, if at all. With many scriptural references, this book can help the issues of being blocked from a close relationship with our Lord through sin, removing entryways for Satan’s spirits to enter our lives, and accepting healing and assurance promised in the Bible to those who give over their lives and priorities to our Heavenly Father.
    The workbook form of explaining each category of sin to help you recall your transgressions against God from an early age is eye opening, and extremely helpful for clearing your path toward healing and walking closer to the Lord. Jesus says clearly in the Bible for his people to heal and deliver others from unclean spirits.
    Got pride? The Bible says our righteousness is like filthy rags and our sins carry us away like dry leaves. Absolutely we are all prideful, and this is what must be broken to get in right relationship with God. Even generational sins and legacies must be dealt with to make your petition from a clean slate! I dare you to take a trip down memory lane on your knees with this book!
    Beatty’s work is easy to read but challenging to complete. I wrote down issues on paper so the book can be used by another. With another World War on the brink, and political turmoil everywhere, a periodic review of this book can help you keep your slate clean for when your life is over. Beatty’s suggestion to burn the list when finished praying over it, is useful and symbolic of the precious forgiveness God offers. What a blessed freedom indeed!

It is a step by step on how to pray and repent. Brings our understanding on how things you may have not realized were needing to dealt with to your attention so you have complete healing.     I've now used this prayer a number of times. It's not really a specific "prayer" as much as it is a "prayer formula." What I've found is it's just repenting of anything you know you should repent of, asking the Lord to bring relief to whatever issues you have, and then see what happens.

    Best way to describe what I mean is this: a friend and his family came to stay at our home from out of town. He and his wife were always bickering, and affection had long left their marriage years ago. On top of that, their 8 year old daughter was always "hyper fidgety" and wearing them out.

    My friend and I talked long into the night about both of these. I shared what I had learned about this stuff. Then I led him through the "formula" of this prayer. He simply repented of sins and asked the Lord to intervene. Then we went to bed.

    The next day significant changes happened. For the first time in years, his wife was actually friendly and affectionate towards him. While watching their daughter swing on the rope swing, she sort of snuggled up against him and tenderly rubbed his back. There was no bickering, no accusing... just a pleasant time enjoying being together as a family. And the daughter -- she was still an active 8 year old, but the "hyper fidgety" part was gone. It made a huge difference for the rest of the weekend.

    I could share other stories, but I'm impressed. This prayer really does work.
