    I. LOVED. THIS. BOOK!!!!! I think it is one of my top 10 books of the year (maybe top 5).
    This book is a romance with a real and total love between the hero and heroine. It reminded me of a quote that I am REALLY going to blister, but you will get the gist. “If you love something, set it free. If it comes back it is yours, if it does not, it never really was.” This phenomenal book took me on the whole gamut of emotions, from laughter, to tears, to out and out anger. It made me FEEL to extremes!!! To me, this is the requisite to a great book.
    Thank you Kathy Coopmans for sharing your fabulous talents with your readers. I also need to thank Molly and the CRC group for leading me to you. Without them, I may not have discovered you. You have become an author that I can count on for a fabulous read.

    Years later Roman is a successful Rockstar however the same can’t be said for his personal life. He is going through a bitter and very public divorce and it is Joslyn who comes to his rescue when he gets in trouble with the authorities.
    When they reunite the connection and chemistry between them is stronger than ever, but someone isn’t happy that they are together and will stop at nothing to keep them apart.

    A little disappointed. The premise and the start of this book was very promising. About one third in, it became very repetitive, in both characters inner dialog about each other and the hot sex scenes. Wish there was more to the actual story. Maybe the next book about Dean will fare better.

    This is the first book I've read from Ms. Coopmans, but I surely loved it! I was engrossed in the lives of these characters from the beginning!

    "Four years is a long time, but we'll make is Joslyn. We have to keep telling ourselves that every day is one day closer. It's always been you and me. Our someday is going to be here before we know it.

    But life has a funny way of getting in the way. Roman ends up getting married to Gwen (no spoiler, it's in the blurb) and poor Joslyn sees the two of them all over the tabloids. But lo and behold, Roman finds himself in legal trouble and ends up with a hot shot tough cookie lawyer, Joslyn.

    They know that the love they once had is still there, but she has some anger issues to work out with him. Enter Gwen, the ex-wife and some other surprises that I didn't see coming and this book went out with a bang! Couldn't put it down!!

    "Listen up, bitch. You think this is bad; you wait until I get you alone." That voice scares me. I don't recognize anything. His broadening, angered tone, however, makes me shiver to the center of my bones.

    Can't wait for Where There's Smoke, book 2! Highly recommend!!

These two had a troubled childhood that connected them where they formed a bond that they thought couldn’t be broken. They thought life was looking up for them with Roman living his rockstar dream. But, as you know Kathy Coopmans is sure to pull out all the stops with our emotions as well as the unexpected twists and turns. She did just that with this book. I loved how hard they both loved even though tragedy pulled them apart. You are sure to be reading well into the night.

    Started off well and then just kept going downhill. a hit shot attorney who caves emotionally and a rick star with a temper. I got fed up with al, the shouting and yelling episodes over several pages that I gad to start skimming. Poor ending.
