This is a great first book from a new author. This story grabbed me pretty early on with a forbidden artifact. Desperate people in dire situations saved by a stranger. Bonds formed fast and strong through fear and need. Love and danger tied together with battles won, friends lost and family found. The book is action packed and the fighting is expressed elegantly. I think this book could have stretched its legs and gained 200 more pages. I'm excited form the next one. Great job Mr Hunter and good luck with the next one!
