With a successful bakery downtown, she finally feels like her life is falling into place—until her sister disappears in the middle of filming a reality wedding show. Now the only person she can go to is the same guy who broke her heart four years ago.

It was refreshing to read about a male who suffers with anxiety, which was clearly the case here with Austin. He was a delight to read, so strict in himself and following his plans, that he forgot was most important until he lost Harper.

Oh poor, heartbroken Harper! Austin was the last person she expected to see. He left such lasting devastation when he'd exited her life years before, so I really felt for her when she thought Austin didn't even recognize her!

Austin made me angry but he was so endearing that I still couldn't help but love him too. I loved how independent and strong Harper had become in his absence, and really felt that their second chance was for the best, that they would work better as a couple because they'd both had that chance to grow apart.

A great second chance romance that left me wanting more.

This is a clean romance, almost a little too squeaky clean. I read this because I wanted to see where this series would go, I was slightly disappointed in this story, the characters seemed very immature and high schools rather than in their mid twenties. I would have enjoyed it more if there was more chemistry between Harper and Austin. I'm waiting for the next installment, I want to know how this story finishes.

The second novel in the Wedding Games series. For some reason I didn't think this story was going to be about Harper. After the cliffhanger of the first story; I was expecting a different main character.
I am glad that the authors explained what was going on with Harper in the first story though and how she seemed distracted and didn't seem to want to talk to people. Apparently she knew one of the cast members beforehand but hadn't talked to him in 4 years when things didn't end well at graduation.
I liked Harper as a character and was glad to learn more about the bakery. I kinda felt bad about Harper in this one since she thought her sister was missing for about two days. She stressed herself out and then had Austin thrown into the mix with looking for Audrey. I feel like these stories should be a little longer but at the same time I get why they are not since there is only so much that can happen in a few days since this series started a week before the dream wedding. I also wonder what the other secret is and what drama it will cause considering these stories are full of drama.
Austin is an interesting character and I felt that Harper forgave him a little easily but he seems like a great guy. I am glad he decided to do something without a plan for once. I'm glad things worked out better in the end and I really wonder what these men are going to do since they seem to be giving up their old lives for Sienna and Harper.
This story definitely ends on a cliffhanger again and I am ready for Reagan's story because I really want to know what is up with her and Harry.

Be sure to read the first book of this series before you start reading this one in order to understand the storyline and the characters. Harper is participating in the wedding game reality show for her older sister Audrey who had planned to marry Eli at the end of the ten day show. Harper has a bakery in town so there is a little more freedom for her being able to leave Inn where the show is being filmed. This comes in handy when on the morning of day 5 she interrupts her younger sister Sierra and Fox romantic breakfast to tell them Audrey has disappeared. She tasks Sierra with causing a distraction while she goes to look for her sister. Into the mix comes Austin, one of the producers of the reality show and Harper's best friend from college who ran off after she proclaimed her love for him at graduation. They hadn't seen each other in four years but Austin has been wishing for a chance to respond differently. He jumps in the help find Audrey while attempting to keep his boss unaware of the situation. More excitement and drama ensues... More secrets and surprises with another romance as these two decide to give it another shot at love. Then another surprise.. I can't wait to see what happens next. The third book can't come fast enough. The characters are very polarizing, you either love them or hate them. I've got my favorites.. Come find yours!

I read this book as quickly as I did the first. I actually think I liked it more because I could relate more to Harper's character than I could with drama-queen Sienna (though I liked them both). But I could definitely feel poor Harper's angst at being pulled in different directions, trying to be there for everyone in her life. It was a perfect personality type for a middle of three sisters, and the different roles she plays for her sisters are very well-written and realistic. As for Austin, he made me mad with all of his planning and lists, and saying the wrong thing at the wrong time--which made him a very believable character as well! By now, I knew the formula and was expecting a cliffhanger into book three with Reagan's character. And though I got one, I was honestly surprised about an unexpected turn. Y'all--it's a good one, and I am so EXCITED for the next book! There is so much explaining to do, and I can't wait to see how this all ends up.

In this installment of the Wedding Games the readers finally understand why sister Harper has been acting strange all week! As it turns out her best friend from college, who she pledged her undying love to, is one of the production assistants. How is she supposed to act normal when this person who knew everything about her (and her family) crops back up after ignoring her for 4 years?
While she spends the first few days ignoring and avoiding him, when the bride goes missing he steps up to help. In a riveting and uncomfortable journey to find the bride, they also find each other (dawwww). I loved the angst and awkwardness of it all and really appreciated to get in the Ex, Austin's, head.
