About the author

Anna Albo was born and raised in Canada. She’s a prairie girl who loves the city. Anna is second generation Italian-Canadian, which means two things: she has a fiery temper and loves to cook. Both those qualities can be found in her books.
From new adult to chick lit and everything in between, Anna writes contemporary romance and women’s fiction that makes people laugh and love.
When Anna isn’t writing her latest book, she’s blogging about dogs, or healthy living, or enjoying a cup of tea while attempting to create a culinary masterpiece.
She lives with her partner, his cat and her dog.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2023Lots of drama in this second book. Do I think Emma prolonged a bit, yes. But proud of her for taking the time to step back and evaluate her feelings. Poor Zach though. Happy ending. Would live another few chapters. Curious where they ended up? Did he go into politics? Did she get her restaurant? Did she finish her psychology degree or go straight to culinary school?
- Reviewed in the United States on May 22, 2024I love it no other words I am very impressed but I was looking forward to a third book sequel
- Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2020I hardly write reviews, but felt I needed to on this series. I enjoyed the book, but if you are a person like me that needs to finish a book series before you can move on, this is NOT the series for you. After reading the first book, I I moved on to this one. What I didn’t realize was that book 2 was only half a book and you had to download Radish to read more. This turns into a serialized story and you can wait an hour to unlock the next chapter for free or pay 3 coins to unlock it immediately. The story is broken down in to “chapters”, but they are VERY short. Season 3 has 105 “chapters” and so far, season 4 has 203 “chapters”. Sooo, bottom line is if you want to read straight through all the chapters available without waiting the hour between chapters, you will need to spend about $75. I can’t think of any book worth that!
- Reviewed in the United States on July 8, 2019Zach and Emma go through a lot to test a relationship. The author has created characters that draw themselves in your imagination and you can picture who they are and how they would be. They keep you tied into the story all throughout the book. There are twists and turns and surprising things but in the end you're going to love this story
- Reviewed in the United States on February 13, 2024I really loved both of these books. Emily and Zach are great together and they had a lot of twists and turns to get there. What I didn't like was finding out there is more to the story and I have to download an app that costs an exuberant amount of money to read. I think it was pretty sucky for the author to do especially after already purchasing the two books here.

this series. I love that it had a happy ending. I wasn't happy with the way Zack was hiding things from Emma. I'm also glad that Ben seems
to have found someone that could love him.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 3, 2020Great book!! I'm glad Emma came out of her shell she still has a long way to go!!! I think.its dumb we have to download Radish for the ending. You can't on kindle, I m not paying more money for chapters that are short and not worth 3.99. I found the book on radish on my phone and wanted to read the book. I bought them and disappointed now dont know ending.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 24, 2019I liked the story and totally pay for "part two" but you have to get it through a different app. Radish can't be downloaded to your kindle and after checking the app out, it's chapter at a time not a whole book. And you have to pay per chapter. So a tv series in book form and you pay to watch each episode. No Thanks!! Let me know when an actual book comes out. You can call it 'Book 3' instead of "part 2" .

5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely recommend!
The first book was disappointing. The main character was an exasperating doormat, who allowed herself to be abused by EVERYONE.
In book 2, she does a 180°. We see her become assertive and fearless. Not only does this book confront a topic that no one ever talks about (the elephant in the room), it does so beautifully. We see humanity at its worst AND best. We see the main character confront this very controversial topic with assertiveness, conviction, forgiveness, and love.
In book 1, she allowed people to abuse her b/c she didn't want to rock-the-boat. In book 2, she does nothing but rock-the-boat.
It's definitely worth reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great story!
I loved the Senator's Son and the sequel didn't disappoint. All the loose ends from the first story are solved here and you get to understand and fall in love (all over again) with the characters.
Loved it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Incomplete book. I feel cheated
This is not complete book. If author keeps this for sale she should post whole book not just a part. Amazon please take action against her. I feel cheated. I don't want half bargain for full money. I need complete book or else I need my money back.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great story
It is a sweet story of an innocent girl ( Emma) who's thrown into the snarky world of university rich kids. She's sharing with Jake, her best friend of 19 years, but falls foul of his girlfriend (Bianca) and her nasty friends. She meets Zach (a rich Senator's son) who takes an interest in her. Bianca upgrades her attacks on Emma, which resulted in Zach coming to her rescue.
There is a HAE for these 2 after a few upsets, but I don't want to say anymore, and spoil the books for anyone else. Well worth the read..
