TO THE WANDERERS…Time on Earth is a novel about today’s egocentric society and the inspiring journey of Luca as he tries to escape from it. If you’ve ever dreamt about quitting everything to pursue your passion, to try to change the world for the better, or just to take a break from life and be free, then this book is for you.Sex, drugs, tears, & love from the sweaty London tube to the decadent nights of Berlin.

Time on Earth is the debut novel by Jose Llorens, it has been featured on the Huffington Post, Vice Magazine and Business Insider.

------------------------------------------------

"I have to do something meaningful with my life.
I fear to face death and realise that my existence was for nothing, but first I need to be free.
Goodbye London, goodbye big job, goodbye my love."

It's been decided, Luca has to kill his ego. He is a young and successful advertising executive who has everything that someone is supposed to want nowadays; the girl, the status, and a wealthy life in London, but he hates himself for having become a slut of capitalism. Panic attacks and suicidal thoughts push him to look for a change, leaving his shallow life behind to embark on a journey into the unknown. It begins with a visit to his old-time friend Jacques, an artist who lives a worry-free, weed-fuelled life in Berlin. Maybe he has some answers.

Time on Earth was a great read. It flows very nicely and it invites you to continue turning the pages one after the other without any breaks. I also really enjoyed the humor and sarcasm used in the book as he discussed strong and valid arguments about consumerism and the advertising world.

There was also a constant element of surprise that was delightful, due to the unique and different views that the author had on the various struggles and important choices that adults go through.

I highly recommend the book! Enjoy it!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Alchemist for our generation - a must read for anyone 15-40

Reading this book was like watching a friend, brother, son, (or maybe yourself?), as they risk everything to find out the true meaning of life. It really helped me figure out what's important in my own life - the main character's journey is a rollercoaster existence that so many people could relate to.

Sometimes little decisions can nudge your life just 2 inches in the right direction, but 20 years later the effect is huge. Buying this book will be one of those decisions - highly recommend it

This is by far the best modern novel that I have has the pleasure to read. It def. Makes you take a step back and think about what's really important in life, how we face the fast pacing new era and enjoy so much with a great writing on the way. Readingg time on earth wont be just reading a novel, this is ( or could be) a life changing experience for the reader.

Loved the story, the characters and how well the author connects with the reader. A funny, sensitive and well written novel you won't want it to end.
On top of that, the reader learns a beautiful lesson while enjoying the ride: we too often forget that time is what really matters in life. So let's make the most out of it.
Honestly, I am just waiting for the next book to come out!

A friend recommended the book to me and I have to thank him for it. Couldn't stop reading and finished it in 3 days. The book perfectly characterises the genaration that is now in their 20s and 30s and has all the opportunieties life has to offer - but with so many options to live ones life its hard to choose. This book takes us on a journey with the main character trying to figure it all out ....laughs and smiles guaranteed!
