- Reviewed in the United States on August 11, 2024I just opened my Amazon box not five minutes after having it delivered and it sadly has a very warped cover. The art inside looks fun though. A little surprised how thin it is as well for the price, with the large font as well it doesn't seem like it's worth the price given how little content is inside. But I'm looking forward to trying it out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Huge amounts of fun in a well presented book
Another entry in the Storymaster's Tales.
A variation on the other great game books in this series. Instead of exploring fantastical woods or dark dungeons you get to scale interesting towers and experience their inhabitants. Not all are friendly, my first game I was defeated by some flying monkies.
If you are after something to entertain yourself, a group of family members or friends this is, and the other game books in this series, are all you need.
My kids (aged 6 and 9) have really enjoyed playing along with these, creating their characters and making decision to add to the story, much better than staring into a tablet for hours on end.
Easy to pick up and play with soundscapes to read out passages and atmospheric music to fully immersed you in your quest.
Buy the books in this series for hours of fun that has great amounts of replayability and you can even create your own quests which span the various books.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great game
The game is great. Easy to learn and very immersive, especially with the soundscapes. The illustrations throughout are beautiful.
My only minor gripe is the print quality. The book is very cheaply produced. It would have been so much nicer as a hard back or, as a paperback, with glossed pages on thicker stock.
