- Reviewed in the United States on October 19, 2021The premise of Uncertain Future: A Vampire Anthology by Edie Montreux of climate activist vampires completely caught my attention. I grew up with an ecologist father who instilled a respect for the earth in me. Even before the plague I was despondent about the future of humanity and the planet and am grateful I don’t have any descendents to worry about. I had read one of the stories in the anthology and enjoyed how the author updated it for today. In some anthologies there is only little connection among the stories, but this one held together well. I’ve liked everything I’ve read by Montreux and will continue to seek out their books.
