    This is the second book in the made series and let me tell you it is oh so good. Do you remember Danny's predicament in the first book. Well we get his and Melissa's story. So all we know is the Melissa is a crazy psycho and some how Danny could not pass up one night with her. She is one tough chick and has been through a lot. Her story is heartbreaking but it has made her who she is. Her half sisters are mean and really need some sense knocked into them. Her dad is no better in some ways but her brothers are awesome. Danny chooses to do the right thing and he sees a different side of her. He is just as crazy as she is and they match each other darkness. Melissa also has another secret and once Danny finds out it is a bit comical. They have been married for a few months and let me say that they are a force to be reckoned with and deal with a lot in a short amount of time. What a great story to read and I cannot wait to read more in this series.

This is book is slammed pack full of action, suspense and a lot of surprises. If you don't like violence then this book is not for you. This author killed again with this book. This series is so so good. I highly recommend it.

    Unexpected Union is the second book in the Made Series and is the story of Danny, head of the Gallagher Irish Mafia, and Melissa, of the Harding gang, who had one night together which ended in an unexpected pregnancy and marriage. These characters were originally in the first book of the series entitled Bloody Union which I recommend reading first before this book. This book is an amazing read with great psycho characters and a fantastic storyline. The next book in the series is Fragile Union.

    Brooke does a great job with the writing in this book. The characters are beautifully written and I personally love strong female characters that are tough.     This is the second book in The Made Series and we have Danny and Lissa. One moment of weakness and we a marriage that's made in..well definitely not what you think. These two are perfect for each other in so many ways. Lissa has had a hard life and is closed off except to a few. She's as close to psycho as Makenna and I can't wait for more of those two together. Danny is taken and Lissa puts everything out there to get him back. This series has me glued and ready for the next book which will be Holly and Romero and by the little tid bit at the end of this book, I'm so ready.

    Danny and Melissa's (aka Lis) story had it's beginnings in book one where Danny, 23 year old boss of the Irish mafia in London, confided in his 18 year old Aunt Makenna, head of the east coast Irish mafia in the US, that he knocked up the daughter of a rival criminal family. Her sage advice was to marry the girl (also 18) so that's where this book picks up, with the marriage. Danny and Lis are basically strangers but they bond quickly and have a lot of passion for each other. This story has them facing enemies and traitors within their own families. Although they are killers (mostly deserved), I really did like them and how devoted to and fiercely protective of each other they are.

    I enjoyed this book and I was never bored, that's for sure, thanks to the violence, the drama, and the steam, but I feel like the characters should be older by at least five years to make it more believable. These young women are 18 years old and their accomplishments and responsibilities would seem to be virtually impossible for such a tender age, and the same for the men in the stories, who are all in their early twenties. Anyway, I do consider this book a good read, despite the age issue, and I look forward to reading Romero and Holly's story.

    Uhmm… can we talk? Is this a good book? Yes. Was the plot solid? Definitely. Did I like the main characters? Well… I liked Danny. But something about Melissa’s constant need to prove she’s a badass just got under my skin. I loved Danny and most of the side characters, but Melissa kind of took away from the story for me. That said, I’m still excited to dive into Holly and Romero’s story next!

    I was a little disappointed to find a plotline that was incorrect - we'd found out something previously and then it was a "surprise" even though it had been revealed earlier. And then the 'most powerful woman' in the world, who is literally for hire, can't track someone who is a threat to her own family? I wish there had been specified barriers - tracking him down but him being gone or something. If the inconsistencies in plot didn't exist, this would definitely be a five star.
