Unrivaled (Marycliff Football Book 3) Kindle Edition
I never planned on seeing Grayson Kilpatrick again.
For a few reasons:
1. I didn't have a way to get in touch with him
2. He'd been recruited to play football for Ohio
3. He pretended he didn't know me when I tried to tell him I was pregnant
I have built my life around a new set of goals that I determined as soon as I had my son. My parents help out while I go to school. I have a plan. And I'm moving forward.
Until Grayson Kilpatrick makes a reappearance and upends all my plans. Again.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2022This book is a interconnected stand-alone, third from the Marycliff Football team. Grayson and Tiffany had a steamy 🥵 night together back in high school in hopes of getting revenge on her ex. That steamy night led to some life changing circumstances, named Ben. Grayson doesn’t know he exists until chance meetings 4 years later.
Now both are parents, they are faced with dealing with each other. The chemistry is still there between them and Tiffany fights it as long as possible. Until they break. Jealousy is a major push to get these two where they needed. With Grayson leaving soon, why start anything? Ultimately, they fall for each other, and their little boy helps allow them to learn how to navigate each other and co-parenting at the same time. Sparks fly.
I know this isn’t everyone’s favorite trope, but I love it because I love the drama of seeing how and when they find out about the child! I LOVED how Grayson reacted to the whole situation. Took responsibility as soon as he found out. Tiffany left some to be desired initially, which annoyed be. Thankfully she came around and I ultimately loved the book. Like I said I’m a sucker for secret baby books.
I would recommend this book as well as the prior books from the Marycliff football

Entertaining and enjoyable read.
A hookup at a high school party where the male character is the quarterback from the rival high school team who beat the female character’s school in the playoffs. She’s just days out of a four year relationship with her school’s quarterback that ended when she walked in on him cheating on her.
Even though the book starts while the characters are in high school with a drama fest of a hookup made me a little apprehensive since this isn’t my preferred trope, I was captivated by the characters. A glimmer of more was present and the author’s writing fully captured my interest.
The So they storyline jumps ahead to both characters attending the same college after Grayson transfers for his senior year. The author was creative in how she introduced the possibility of the secret baby to the unsuspecting baby daddy. I wish the author would have included the mutual friend, Jackson, in a scene or two after the truth comes out since he just disappears from the storyline.
The story unfolds and Grayson is focused on preparing for the NFL’s combine and the subsequent draft, but he makes time for his son and Tiffany.
Any romance has to have some angst and drama to make it interesting to readers, but in this day and age it was a little unrealistic to think a young woman as focused on getting her degree and accomplishing her goals wouldn’t have considered transferring or completing her degree online to keep her young son with his dad. This seems like it would have been a big topic she would have addressed earlier instead of just stewing over the possible heartbreak.
I really enjoyed the characters and found the reactions of Grayson to finding out about Ben to be poignant.

This is the third book in the Marymount Cliff spin-off series and focuses on Gray (Piper’s older brother) and Tiffany. You would probably benefit more from reading the first two books in the series (Off Limits and Trick Play) as they seem to flow together, especially Piper’s book since some events occurred between her and Gray go into this book. I wasn’t aware this was part of a series so while I wasn’t lost while reading this book I did feel like I was missing some information.
Gray and Tiffany’s story is bit of an odd situation that just got worst by no one really talking to the actual involved parties. I really did love how Gray reacted when he found out the truth and how he wanted to correct the unknown wrong. I give Tiffany major props for handling all that extra life experience and still completing her school work.
I am just not sure why I didn’t get into the book as much as I wanted. It could have to been that it seemed too easy and most of the hardships were quickly fixed. Things essentially went from 0 to 100 once Gray learns the truth and speaks his truth, but he is also a senior about to be drafted so that moves things even more quickly. Also, they barely know each other besides the high school party hook up so things felt a little off for me.
Also, Piper seemed like a brat to me, but I didn’t read her book and maybe whatever Gray did to her is the reason for her behavior. However, she seemed to be acting awfully childish for someone who seemed to want everyone to treat her like an adult.
Autumn and Jackson’s book is next and looks very interesting.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 10, 2022Dude Greyson is amazing. Honestly I loved his character. I thought Tiffany was a little too immature with her thinking at some points and I wanted to reach into the book and shake her so she’d finally just say what she wants out loud. Overall I really liked this book a lot.
However I’m pretty bummed that the epilogue wasn’t even a flash forward of the couple in the book but the like prequel to the next book in this series I guess. Idk, those kinds of epilogues aren’t my cup to tea.

4.0 out of 5 stars A very nice surprise!
This book was a Kindle Unlimited suggestion and it was a great one!
I loved the easy-to-read style and the characters are really likable.
Gray and his dilemma were the perfect compliment for my middle-school sex class were I was able to voice the angst and doubts a young person gets when dealing with parenting.
Also, the heroine provided a great POV about how life changes when having a baby and how hard it is do everything while keeping a baby alive, well fed and happy.
This was great! I’m intrigued by Piper’s story 💜

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect blend of 2nd chance & enemies to lovers!
Just wow! 2nd chance at love is one of my favorite tropes but I’m not a huge fan of enemies to lovers, so I wasn’t sure if Jerica would hook me in with Grayson and Tiffany’s story.
I’m very happy to say that this book far exceeded my expectations and that I absolutely love Gray and Tiff!
Tiffany ends up pregnant after a quick hook up with Gray at a party in their senior year of high school. Due to extenuating circumstances (revealed in the book), Tiff ends up a single mom with a fantastic support system in her parents. When Gray and Tiff meet up again in college, Gray is eager to get reacquainted but Tiffany clearly hates his guts and wants nothing to do with him! When Gray discovers that he shares a son with Tiff, wild horses couldn’t keep him away and they both have to learn how to travel the tricky path of co-parenting … without falling in love.
Warning: the swoon factor in this book is epic!!! Watching Gray fall for Ben was so endearing and I loved his patience with Tiffany, never once begrudging her the time she needed to adjust to him being involved. Watching Gray fall for Tiff was HAWT!! I adored how their relationship developed and how the initial chemistry between them grew into a mature and sensual love!

4.0 out of 5 stars Cute
All the fluffy feels that I wanted from this book are definitely present. I did feel like it took me a long time to warm up to Tiffany which I don’t normally do with the FMC but by the middle of the book I was liking her a lot more

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok
I liked but didn't love this. I felt rather unsatisfied by the time I finished it. The characters were ok and the story wasn't too bad, but the end was rushed
