The Office Games (Holiday Homecoming Book 3) Kindle Edition

4.3 out of 5 stars 768 ratings

All I wanted for Christmas was for my most-loathed coworker to get hit by a bus.

Unfortunately, Santa decided to give him a promotion: my BOSS…

I couldn't afford to quit, so I suffered through his egotistical reign and hoped that my wish would be granted next season.

Does Santa even read our lists anymore?

Between an ice storm for the ages, getting arrested for “breaking and entering,” I wind up trapped inside his car for a never-ending road trip, and any time I think the journey home can't get worse, the universe throws me another wicked curveball.

The games are just beginning...

The Office Games is Book 3 of the Holiday Homecoming Series by Whitney G. I now have all three books in my library. The Office Games is James and Taryn's story. Its storyline is mysterious and fun with that sexy banter. They have a history but Taryn doesn't remember due to trauma. James and Taryn argue about everything but that attraction is obvious and deep. They are both up for the same position. Check out TOG to see how everything works out. The job thing, the attraction, and the missing memory. Loved it💞🔥🎄🔥☃️

The Office Games was a delight to read. In keeping with tradition and theme of the Holiday Homecoming Collection, the book rounds out this series. Taryn Stone and James Calloway work their way into your heart and add to the giggle factor of this holiday story. Don't worry it has the right amount of steam, too. Loved it!

    Absolutely loved the Holiday Novella!

This is the 3rd Holiday Book and the Office Games is hilarious, provides banter, and you feel an underlying connection between Taryn and James but the backstory you would not believe!

As expected the book takes place at Christmas and the characters are driving corporate America! With that being said Taryn always spends Christmas with her family and is not willing to give up that time for anyone!
When the new boss is appointed he mandates Holiday work for everyone but Taryn is not staying in the city this holiday.

Delayed flights, road trip with an unexpected colleague and a marriage pact made years ago! This is an easy / light read and just what you need to get into the Holiday Spirit!

I've read the other books in this series and while I greatly enjoyed the first one, the second one was kinda all over the place for me and this was kinda sorta in line with that one. It felt rushed, with a lot of details glossed over, as if we should already know them. There were several funny moments, which is dope. Taryn was a little annoying and her supposed hateful relationship with James was as much contradicting as it was confusing.
I like the vibe of these books; I just wish they were executed better.

Taryn hates James who got the promotion at work that she felt should have been her's. James makes no secret he's attracted to Taryn while she covers her feelings with snark and sarcasm. He is terrified she is going to fulfill a pact she made with a high school friend to marry if neither has found "the one" by age 30.

Forced to ride to Colorado together for Christmas is torture for Taryn and exactly what James wants. Having time with her, able to talk things out, reveals a lot and fills in all the fine lines. Hate and love are both strong emotions that are very close together on that fine line.

This sweet second chance novella is a joy to read and will leave you with a soft smile on your face. This Office Series is such a fun read!

This is the third book in the Office Holiday series and the shortest one. It was a very quick read but just as funny as the other two. I feel like I need to go and reread the others because Taryn and James didn’t feel as fleshed out as the other main characters. They had backstories that I either didn’t remember fully or weren’t fully explained until the end for the sake of the plot. Nevertheless, the story was a good one.

What an amazing story! Taryn is fighting for a position with her co-worker James, who are both well qualified. As we all know only one can get said position! As time goes on, after Decision is made, of course there are hard feelings. Throughout the course, there is so much back and forth between the two, constantly bickering especially when it comes to taking time off over holidays. This story is fun to read, it’s like you are right there with them, and you cannot wait for them to see what is happening between them. Loved this story.❤️❤️

Once again Whitney has come up with a story that keeps you glued to the pages. I read the book in one sitting, it peaked my interest. Once again, the love/hate banter keeps you going. You will love the story of Taryn and James. On to another one of her books!

This one.... Oh my.. I don't think I've ever fallen so hard for a novella before and also so freaking invested in characters that were part of a quick read.

I know Whitney can make me fall for anything she writes but this one just proves that she doesn't need a big book to make me fall madly in love with her writing.

I can't stop obsessing over James and Taryn, over how absolutely nuts they made me go over their enmity; the kind where they not only couldn't stand the other one but were constantly plotting the other's deletion.😅

I was here for all the hot tension and sparks that were flying between them but wouldn't acknowledge it at all.

I didn't see the road trip part coming and it was such a freaking delight to read and experience the enemies slowly melting and confessing through their eyes and touches what they have always wanted and that's each other.

We also have some suspense sprinkled in and let me tell you, when that twist comes I was freaking screaming with shock and excitement because... Oh my.... It was perfection.

The Spice though.... Oh my... The way these two would look at each other and especially the things James would say.... I was melting with his words and seriously wanted to be inside the book and take Taryn's place.🔥🥵

Ahhh.... FREAKING OBSESSED OVER THIS BOOK. I really wish that Whitney gets struck with writing more of this book because I wouldn't mind having more of James and Taryn and their electrifying chemistry and sizzling intimacy.

This one is definitely going in my Top Favourite Holiday books List and Reread favourite book List and also my top Favourites List of this year. Abso-freaking-lutely loved loved this one. 5+ 🌟 for this sizzling ride.♥️♥️♥️♥️

Such a shame I didn’t see this around the holiday time, but nevertheless it was still a heartwarming read. I really enjoyed reading this series seeing as you can see the prior characters all merging into each story, which is nice to see.

Humour being included always gets a higher rating in my opinion and there was lot in this book. I appreciate that even though this was a novella there was still some build up, because Taryn suffered from memory loss caused by her accident. So it was nice to see it all rushing back towards the end.

Only con was I would’ve liked to spend more time with the couple being in love instead of them being more enemies for majority of the book, but other than that it was a pleasant read.

The Office Games is book 3 in the Holiday Homecoming series and is Taryn and James's story.
I've been looking forward to this book for what seems like ages and it's a great addition to the series.
I loved the banter between James and Taryn and I found myself smiling through most of the book.
I really hope there is more to come from this series.
