Proving ghosts are real is something Jason Thomas had always dreamed of. BL Maxwell grew up in a small town listening to her grandfather spin tales about his childhood. Later she became an avid reader and after a certain vampire series she became obsessed with fanfiction. She soon discovered Slash fanfiction and later discovered the MM genre and was hooked.

    I really enjoyed this set of the first three Running Scared Paranormal Research stories. Jason is hooked on ghosts and haunted places; Wade is hooked on Jason. It was fun, eerie, suspenseful. and spooky to follow along on their adventures. Wade isn't into ghost hunting the way Jason is, but...the things we do for love. I found the ghost stories intriguing and intense, and the developing love relationship between Jason and Wade fun and engaging. Overall, a good best-friends-to-lovers story with plenty of spooky and scary ghostly encounters to make you keep all the lights on.

    I loved the mixture of romance and ghosts and intrigue. This is a book that i would suggest reading with the lights on unless things that go bump in the night are what you are here for.

    But it also has some amazing characters and they have certainly wormed their way into my heart and I am looking forward to continuing to read these stories in the next series of books

    This was my first time experiencing stories from BL Maxwell and I'm glad I got the chance to read these stories. I love Wade's & Jason's relationship. I felt like it mirrored what many people have gone through while being secretly in love with someone who's your best friend. Beyond their relationship though are their paranormal outings together which seem to have previously been just excuses to spend time together. Im glad the step up from amateurs to professionals wasn't the usual "oh we know everything and get it all right the first time" that is usually portrayed. They're still learning and getting help from the friends they are accumulating. I'm looking forward to the next books in the series to see how things go for them.

    This is the first three books in this series. This is definitely not a story to read after dark especially if you get scared easily. Ghosts, spirits, haunted houses and more are all in this series. I really enjoyed this.

    Shared experiences even if reluctantly, can open doors to the possibility of deeper more intimate feelings. The step into the paranormal world was whimsically tentatively then professionally confident! Jason gets to parlay a focus obsessive interest into a viable career bringing his friend, Wade along with him. Wade's participation is reluctant and motivated by his loving support of Jason. They bring a like minded group of what becomes a found family on their adventure, which keeps growing and getting more complex. I really like the flow and how their adventures develop into a legitimate business. Character acceptance and growth is an added bonus. Well done!     I love these stories so much. This is a amazing Box Set.
    --Ghost Hunted (book 1)---Jason has always been fascinated by ghosts. Jason goes a investigates the old haunted house and brings his best friend Wade with him. They have been friends since childhood. Wade loves the idea of spending time with Jason even if he has to deal with spooky ghosts. When things start going crazy. They both find out the ghosts want help moving on. Will this haunting be what brings them together?
    -- Ghost Haunted(book 2)--- It was super funny. Wade Rivers finally get what he desires most Jason Thomas as his boyfriend. Wade takes Jason on a date. But Wade has a surprise in store that might scared the life out of Jason. What better than a haunted house? Jason loves paranormal investigation but haunted houses not so much. With their friend Jimbo joining them they are all in for a scare.
    --Ghost Trapped (book 3)--- Wade and Jason return. They are adjusting to their new relationship and being in a paranormal group called Running Scared Paranormal . Jimbo has joined has group. They get a call about a job at The Hitching Post. Jimbo finds his blast from the past named Dean. But will the things that go bump in the night defeat them all? Or will Running Scared Paranormal beat what cant be seen?
