    Robin really outdid himself with this one. I love Mulligans Mill so much. Maggie is my fav comfort character. Between her, Connie, Great Nan, Aunt Bea, I was cackling this whole book. There was a lot of emotion here, angst, regret, pain. I found these characters to be complex and unexpected. This was the best one yet in the series, and I’ve loved them all.

    This was a fun and quirky return to Mulligans Mill as Benji and Bastian try to see if they can repair old hurts and their love!

    Bastian broke Benji’s heart when he walked away from him 3 years and now he has returned to Mulligans Mill to try to explain himself and make things right. Benji really has no desire to be around the man that hurt him but his family is determined to bring them back together.

    I thought this was an overall fun read with the very quirky antics of those around Benji but it also had some big emotional moments as well. When Bastian finally reveals his truths my heart broke for both men in those moments for what they’d been through. It’s easy to feel the love they have for each other despite their time apart and the issues they’ve had. This is one couple that definitely deserves their HEA and I was very happy with how their story comes together. Good laughs and feels - overall a fun time!

    Welcome back to the small town of Mulligan’s Mill. We have met Benji as he owns the BNB. He is so sad and misses his ex Bastian as he thought he was his end game and going to live happily ever after. He has such a broken heart. One that might never be mended even with time.

    Bastian just up and left Benji one day with no explanation. His heart is broken. He keeps on contact with Benji parents and is invited for Christmas.

    This story cracked me up with the quirky family and friends. When the truth comes out it hurts Benji. But in true Robin fashion, we get their HEA.

    Be prepared to laugh, giggle, and snort at the ruckus that happens in town.
    Thank you Robin for another fabulous addition to Mulligans Mill.

    Well, be ready to feel all the emotions in this latest installment of Mulligans Mill. Bastain made a choice that will break not only him but his first love Benji, and now it's time to right past wrongs. When Bastian returns to Mulligan’s Mill, Benji is not ready for the onslaught of emotions that comes with it or to move past it when he knows there's something Bastian is still hiding. And oh boy, when it all comes to head, be prepared for a heart racing ride indeed. Paired with all the unique quirks that you know and love of this small town with pains that are hard to move forward from. Both these men need to work through these emotions to be truly happy, but with the love and support of this crazy beautiful town their is hope.

    This is such a Mulligans Mill read with humour and chaotic randomness but it works!

    Benji and Bastian is a second chance slow burn love story with low heat but lots and lots of laughs.

    Sterling needed a boot up the butt but can certainly see why Bastian needed and 'used' him at the time.

    love hurts and mistakes are made by both MCs but it also wins and we get HEA's

    and the playlist is awesome!

    The Ex in Xmas by Robin Knight was a sweet second chance romance. The push and pull between Bastian and Benji created some wonderful tension scenes. The secondary characters were great and created some humorous moments. The grand gesture at the end was unique and fun. Overall, The Ex in Xmas was a fantastic read!

    I’m not sure how I feel about this one. I get Bastian’s reason for leaving but it was wrong. I get why Benji’s parents stayed in contact…but it was wrong. Benji was left behind with no explanation, no nothing. And he is supposed to just get over it because of Bastian’s selfishness? Normally I love a second chance but this one didn’t sit right with me. The humor and the serious nature of Bastian’s secret don’t magically make it all go away. This is the only book in this series I have read and will probably stay that way.

    Yet another good story in this great series. Each book can be read standalone. This one did not disappoint, though the action started slowly. The MC is perpetually angry, and the side characters are hilarious. The story is fun in most parts, but it also deals with some big poignant and sad moments that will squeeze your heart.
