Loved to have myself a Finn❤️
Vengeful Union was the first book I have read from Brooke Summers and she got me hooked. Now, I have to read all the Made series books she have written so far so I can get a better grasp on all the families. Destiny and Finn’s story was everything I was looking for in a mafia book. Enemies to lovers, push and pull, angst, OTT possessive and protective alpha who is instantly stricken by the heroine who is not a wall flower or a shrinking violet. The action scenes, the suspense, the secrets and half-truths all contribute to this love story and make it much more intense and all consuming. The heat between Des and Finn was almost palpable through Brooke Summers words out of the page. The intimate scenes were scorching and detailed which made it absolutely delicious. The creative torture scenes were harsh but actually added to the authenticity of Finn’s persona among the mafia and didn’t really bother me and I don’t know what that says about me 🤷🏼‍♀️. Overall, I highly recommend Vengeful Union and look forward to reading the rest of the series. I reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I enjoyed this book about Finn and Destiny. I admit, I had to skip the violence, but the rest of the book was just so good. I read it in one sitting. The strength of family in face of betrayal and pain was awesome. Great read!

    4 1/2 stars
Finn definitely was different to how I had perceived him from earlier stories but he was so much better. Yes, he was a blood-thirsty and creative man when doling out punishment but there’s another side of him that was good to see as well. Destiny was a lot more complex than at first sight, too. She needed to build a solid backbone to endure the life she had and it served her well.

Even though the beginning started off with some incredibly interesting and creative torture, for me the story was a little slow to get going once that was over, this is the reason for the 1/2 a star. It wasn’t until about 70% into the story that the action really sped up and became super exciting, sit-on-the-edge-of-your-seat style of writing. And honestly, when it does, it packs a punch and is terrific. Be warned though, there were some violent scenes but they were a must have and written well.

The puzzle of who the mole was in the Gallagher Clann was a good one, I did like how everything was wrapped up nice with everything addressed and sorted. I am already excited to read about Jade and Rocco’s story next.

This author has me hooked on this series. Love the fact that her male main character once they figure out the female character is their one its full steam ahead with real communication between the characters.

I won't say this is the darkest or dirtiest series I would put it at 2.5 for spice and 3 for dark but its how Brooke Summers has created this world that has me drawn in and I don't want it to end.

Finn and Destiny’s story was such a great read! Finn was amazing, I loved how creative he got with his… let’s call it problem-solving when dealing with traitors. And Destiny? An absolute firecracker. She’s hilarious and brought so much energy to the story. This book covered everything I wanted in depth, leaving me completely satisfied. Easy 5 stars!

It has a rough start..not for the faint of heart in my opinion. And some of it is going to end that way too. Making this one hard to rate. But as dark as it often is it also has some good parts too.
Destiny was a great main character. She might be afraid at times but she REFUSES to back up and let anyone see it. Finn thought that she had lived a pretty much entitled life but he has no clue to the terror that she has lived under, especially the last few years. But he's not going to let it go until he knows everything about her.
Finn really is a man that you do not want to cross. Cross him or try to hurt his family and you will have a VERY unpleasant visit from him. Creatively painful and probably your last. Everyone knows about him. So it did make me smile when Destiny went toe to toe with him and started calling him, "Psycho Boy."

There is a fairly large cast of people in the story especially when it comes to Finn's side of people. A few times I got lost in who was who and how they fit in when it comes to his family. I found Destiny's family and people easier to follow.
I did like Finn sister (who is the under-boss) even though she was a force to be reckoned with too. There were also other people that I liked even though they did bad things. Come on, most of them are doing violent things as deep in the trenchs criminals.
When Finn takes Destiny, things really do turn upside down for both of them. It also stirs up even more trouble than what they are already facing. Things are definitely active with a lot of plots and action.
It does have a good ending for Finn and Destiny which I did enjoy.

"I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book through Netgalley.” These are my honest thoughts and feelings about this book.

Finn is looking for revenge against the death of his father and what better way of getting that than taking his enemy’s most prized possession, his daughter Destiny, right? Unfortunately for Finn all is not as it seems. Destiny is also looking for revenge and she’s not the meek and humble girl that Finn was expecting. So what happens when Finn and Destiny realize they have a common enemy? Well let’s just say the sparks start to fly and your Kindle might go on fire as these two enemies turned lovers realize they might just be what the other is searching for. This is a continuation of the Gallagher clan and another story with strong male and female leads ( no whiny ladies here). Like the other books in the series there’s plenty of heat, a bit of action, and a sprinkling of humor with a bit of a shocking twist when a new enemy to The Clan emerges. Those of you who have read the other books in the series will delight upon seeing many familiar faces, but you don’t have to have read the other books in this series to enjoy this Mafia romance (although I strongly recommend that you do because they’re really great books). I can’t wait for more from this devastatingly handsome crew and can’t wait for the next book to come out. 5 stars. I received an arc copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher for my honest review.

5.0 out of 5 stars I can’t get enough of this series! I could read it over and over. Love it!

Finn has met his match with Destiny. She doesn’t back down and gives him a real run for his money. These two are so explosive together. Their story was full of action, drama, steam and jaw dropping moments. It wasn’t all sunshine and roses, and definitely not for the faint hearted. It is a dark read.

Vengeful Union is the sixth book in the Made Series, but can be read as a standalone. I highly recommend if you enjoy Mafia romance.
