    Ces jeunes femmes au temps de la régence anglaise sont un peu laissées pour compte , rebelles, timides, non conformes aux canons de la bonne sociétés, avec des secrets, mise à l’écart pour une situation jugée scandaleuse… une amitié est née un vent de rébellion les anime.
    Ici c’est la jolie Alice très timide que ses parents veulent marier à un intrigant coureur de dot .
    Mais le défi d’Alice, décidé par les jeunes filles de son groupe de lecture, et d’embrasser un homme à minuit au clair de lune . Et ce défi va lui ouvrir les yeux sur ce qu’elle veut réellement faire de sa vie .
