    Buckle Up, for the beginning of what is going to be a Heck of a Wild Ride! This one hit all my buttons and I LOVED every minute of this story! Exhilarating! Provocative! Dangerous! Full of desperation, reckless passion, white, hot lust, and a hunger that could easily get out of control. Lisa Renee Jones writing never fails to get my heart pumping and my emotions stirring as her hero seduces me in every possible way. And this, had my senses and heart swooning and seduced in no time!

    Adrian Mack has been hiding. After working for the FBI under cover with the notorious Texas Devil’s bike club for years. He no longer is the man he use to be, after becoming one of them. He has been working with Walker Security but, with the trial set to start soon and witnesses dropping like flies it is time to leave Walker before he puts them in the line of fire.     When He's Dirty, book #1 in Lisa Renee Jones’ Walker Security: Adrian’s Trilogy dark romantic suspense series, focuses on the passionate and forbidden relationship between Walker Security team member Adrian Ramos and Assistant District Attorney, Priscilla Miller. As part of a trilogy, you should read books 2-3 for the complete story. Jones’ compelling story, deft plotting and storytelling, intriguing and excellently developed characters, and vibrant description make it a thrilling and entertaining romantic suspense read. I was so engrossed in the story and invested in the characters that I started book two right away when the novel ended. With my weakness for on-the-run, witness protection, and close-quarter romantic suspense novels, it’s no surprise how quickly I was sucked into this one.

    Former FBI agent Adrian Ramos disappeared and became a member of Walker Security, which has given him a path to redemption after living on the dark side for six years undercover with the Texas Kings biker club. He lost himself while undercover and still isn’t sure who he became, but one thing he’s sure of is that he’s not a good man. He’s a witness on a hit list with a price on his head. Witnesses are being murdered now that the trial is close to starting, making his testimony even more vital, further endangering his life. Assistant District Attorney Priscilla Miller’s case against the Texas Kings' head “King Devil” is falling apart. Still, she’s set on taking him down with a conviction. With her witnesses being picked off, she needs her key witness, ex-FBI Agent Adrian Mack, Adrian Ramos, to come in ASAP. Before he comes in, though, Adrian needs to know whether Priscilla “Pri” is honest or if she’s been bought by the “King Devil.” When the case puts her life at risk, she will need to rely on Walker Security and Adrian to keep her safe even if she’s not quite ready to trust him.

    Fraught with sexual tension, distrust, passion, and danger, the interactions between Adrian and Priscilla are fiery, intense, and steamy. Adrian is deeply drawn to Pri, attracted to her on a level that surprises him and interferes with his ability to remain as detached from her as he should. There’s an instant, profound connection between them. Pri tries to push him away to keep him safe from her job and the dangerous case she’s working on, unaware of his true identity. But she’s also trying to protect herself. I love the relationships and interactions between Adrian and his team just as much as his with Pri—especially between Adrian and Savage. Adrian’s so determined to go it alone, believing he’s all on his own, but Walker Security has his back. They’ve accepted him as one of them, part of the family whether he likes it or not. They bicker and poke fun at each other like brothers. It’s amusing. I cannot wait to read/listen to Lucifer’s novels, and I’m curious about Savage, too. Okay, so all the Walker Team members are fascinating—I feel compelled to read all their books. RIP my ever-expanding TBR.

    When He’s Dirty is a sexy, suspenseful, angsty, steamy, exciting start to Adrian’s Trilogy. I highly recommend it for readers who like romantic suspense that is just a bit darker and forbidden romance but don’t mind cliffhanger endings.

    This is the 1st in a new trilogy, and what a fantastic beginning this is. Adrian is an ex FBI agent, who worked undercover for years at the Texas Devil’s MC, and when his case was over he was left out in a limb as he is not that man he used to be, and is a loss at what to do, and he is now working at Walker Security. Pricilla is an assistant district attorney, whose case was getting justice for from the Devils’, but when her case is in danger of going down the tubes as witnesses are being killed. Adrian is her star witness, and as they become close, and when danger comes Pricilla is protected by the guys at Walkers. This is a well written flawless story which is a wild ride from the very beginning, and is filled with lies, secrets, danger, passion, and love. I was totally enthralled throughout this riveting and all-consuming story, and I look forward to reading the 2nd book. I highly recommend this gifted author’s work for all.
