Stolen by the Warlord Prince (Brothers of the Scarred Planet Book 3) Kindle Edition

3.7 out of 5 stars 26 ratings

An alien warlord has stolen me to teach him about human ways. But what if teaching isn’t all he wants from me?

I have always followed the rules. Go to church. Help others. Don’t give into my deepest, darkest desires.

But when the wickedly gorgeous Mad Prince of Gatika–or, as I call him, the devil personified–kidnaps me to teach him about humanity, all the rules I have worked so hard to stick to are thrown out of the window.

The more we grow to know one another, the more I realize this being’s cruel, reckless exterior belies a vulnerable and pained reality. Or maybe it’s just another act? He
is the most unstable and deceptive alien I have met, after all.

Can I figure this warlord out before I truly fall for him… and can I figure out the true reasons behind his desire to learn about human ways before he destroys everything around us?

STOLEN BY THE WARLORD PRINCE is the third book in the Brothers of the Scarred Planet series from the pen name of a bestselling author. It can also be read as a standalone. It’s perfect for fans of steamy, intense love stories between dominant aliens and strong-minded heroines. Expect steamy scenes, HEAs and an alien that turns into a monster in more ways than one…

Editorial Reviews

Review

"I loved everything that happened between Louisa and Galinn. Both have been through so much heartbreak and loss and the use of hazes by the Gatikans added so many complications, hesitance and setbacks. But Galinn and Louisa were such a great match and everything happening between them was so intense. I loved that together they became so much more and grew into the spectacular people they were meant to be. Even more, their chemistry was fantastic and the passion they shared was off-the-charts hot. In addition, the storyline and worldbuilding were fantastic! I loved that we got to explore another part of Obrothea. And the beautiful and ravaged Gatika was such a contrast to Skarsdon and Fostinia. Even more, the suspense and the absolutely jaw-dropping twists kept me glued to the pages till the very end." - MidnightTemptation
"Action packed, unique, violent and romantic, a compelling combination!" - DMA, GoodReads
"This is a super sci-fi romance! I liked it very much.. It is intense and interesting, exciting and steamy." - Marianne, GoodReads

I liked how this story started out, and then it took a slightly religious turn and I started to worry, but it all worked out in the end. I'm not sure I would have picked this one up if I had known about all the talk of Jesus, and that would have been a shame because the story is really good, even with all that, and I really enjoyed it. I'm an ex-religious person, so religion tends to be a trigger for me (I'm sure that's not a common trigger) but the talk didn't throw me out of the story because it wasn't preachy. The story is full of action and twists and turns, and the romance is steamy. And those are the reasons I kept reading. This is a sci-fi romance series unlike any I've read before and I'm enjoying it.

Machiavellian romance. Never thought I’d see one quite so well done. This story has smexy times, duplicity, many emotions and love.

This book has religious undertones with lots of talk a out God and the devil. I wish it had more of a back story I struggled in the beginning to follow along.

Stolen by the Warlord Prince is a passion and action filled sci-fi romance. There is a religious aspect to the story, which I did not anticipate, but it did not take over or overshadow the plot/story. There is fantastic steam, emotion, and love. This is an enjoyable story that is well paced.

Louisa has been kidnapped by Galinn, the Mad Prince of Gatika. He wants her to teach him about Louisa's religious knowledge. Galinn struggles with haze addictions which gives him a dark persona, and a thirst for revenge. As Louisa and Galinn spend more time together their attraction grows. There are lots of political and personal problems that they have to work out in order to achieve their HEA. There is lots of action, danger, and adventure. The story was interesting, entertaining, intriguing, and steamy. I want to go back and read the first two books in this series.

Loved Galinn and Louisa’s storyline. They found their purpose through each other and it was beautiful to read. Both had pasts full of drama that made them who they were and both learned to take it head on and persevere through it with each other. Their passion was hot. The plot twists even had a surprise. All around good one.

3.0 out of 5 stars Cute... but not ideal with my religious trauma
Reviewed in Canada on July 6, 2022
It was a cute book, I liked the characters and the twists. But I wasn't able to ignore the religious parts of the book (as Louisa's religion is a big part of her). It would have been 4 stars if not for the major religious aspects.

Plenty of action and plenty sizzle. Storyline was thrilling and had plenty to offer to keep me hooked. Characters certainly brought this book to life
