    This is the third Bridget Bishop FBI thriller and each one is a page Turner and difficult to put down! They’re very addicting!! It’s action from start to finish and the murderers are always a surprise! The plot is well written and very convincing. I like that Bridget and the Marshall are dating and FBI undercover special agents are a close working pair! Each of the stories have been intricately woven .
    Awesome stories! Next up is Book 4!!!

    We’re back for another Bridget Bishop read and I’m loving the ability to catch up with one book right after another.

    I received an ARC from BookSirens and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

    As Bridget would say, “When will I ever learn to say no?” She’s caught up in another serial killer case. Bridget keeps trying to turn her back on her former employers, the BAU w/ the FBI. I think what we all know or suspect (which seems like a given, so I’m not spoiling anything) is that she will never truly part with the BAU! That’s what I love about these books! Being a profiler is exactly what and who Bridget is, to her core. I also love Melinda’s characters and the fact that we’re seeing some character growth between them! It’s about time! ☺️

    This latest book focuses mainly on family and how greed and selfishness can tear one apart. I thought it was a good storyline and the villains were believable, although I did call out one of them.

    Yes I would continue to recommend this series and all of Melinda Woodhall’s books.

    This is at the core a story of a family, and the horrible wrongs that can be committed when one member has no concern for anyone but themselves. That description fits more than one person in this story but it’s true all the same. While murders were committed that had no connection to the family it all started with a hurt child. Hurt that festered and grew until it spiraled out of control and became something dark and deadly.
    This also chronicles Bridget Bishop and her continuing involvement in serial cases no matter how hard she struggles to stay a civilian and out of the killer catching business. This book is disturbing in the best way that thrillers are in that it’s so easy to see how a safe “normal” life can be turned into a horror filled nightmare. Definitely one of the best thriller books and series I’ve read!

    Lavish lifestyles, money, power, marital affairs, and divorce proceedings, – what could go wrong? According to this novel – everything. Bridget needs to help resolve a custody case. Aquations galore. Divorces are never easy, but in this case, neither parent is suitable. Her BAU instincts kick in when the wife finds her husbands mistress dead in their house. He is arrested, but is he guilty? Bridget needs to balance both sides of this dilemma as the FBI and BAU team up for another case.
    Full of drama, great new characters, and the pieces fit just right at the end. Highly encourage you to read the total series. Thanks to BookSirens for the ARC of this book.
