Lovely story!
Love this story and the illustrations. The book has a nice feel - paperback and sturdy! The length is perfect. The font size is also a plus (not too small!) We are giving this to our son for his 6th birthday. He will love the illustrations, the story, and we love that we can talk about the “big picture” message that goes along with it! This book is perfect for a child 4+ and anyone who wants to celebrate being in the moment and finding happiness from doing what they love!

    I bought this book for my grandchildren, and we have thoroughly enjoyed reading it. The illustrations are engaging and colorful, and keep their interest, as does the story of the little boy and the fisherman. It reminds me a little bit of the beloved story of the girl who throws starfish into the sea (The Star Thrower). Like that story, I love the moral at the end, which can be explored with children. A beautiful little book!

As my boys love adventures fishing this really connected with them, how fishing really isn’t all about catching fish, but so much more!
