Will Stop At Nothing: The Will Peters Series Kindle Edition
In a cemetery, the dead are meant to be underground, not hiding in the bushes.

What’s more, a vulnerable friend desperately needs his help. Just how much more can Will cope with? But yet another tragic event leaves him reeling.
And then there's his mother. Will hasn't seen her since he ran away from home over twenty years ago, but there's only one person who can help him fit all of the pieces together.
Join Will, Birdie and Stanley in this final installment of the popular British Will Peters crime trilogy.
In a case that’s far too close for comfort and a story of a past he never knew, read Will Stop at Nothing to find out how he reconciles the events that made him the man he is today.

What Will Be
A brutal murder. A friend in jeopardy. A steadfast sleuth.
When a new cold case initiative is launched, cab driver and grave digger Will Peters could never know just how close he is to one of the crimes committed nearly twenty years ago.
A man ferociously beaten to death in a derelict shoe factory soon becomes the focus of his unwavering attention. Someone knows what went on that night. That someone needs to start talking. With the help of ex-con Birdie Fox and elderly hard-nosed trade unionist Stanley Kipper, Will sets about finding them. But it’s bittersweet and Will soon finds himself with an impossible moral dilemma. Tell the police what he’s uncovered or keep quiet and pray they don’t arrive at the same conclusion? Is he strong enough for either? If you enjoy rich characters and a little humour sprinkled through your British crime, then you’ll love the Will Peters series. Perfect for fans of Richard Osman’s The Thursday Murder Club and The Man Who Died Twice.

About the author

Hi, I'm Linda Coles and I write British crime novels. #GreatBritishCrime. #BritishCrimeDrama
An English woman myself, I now reside in New Zealand with my husband, 2 cats and 7 wonderful goats. Google Earth and two UK based editors ensure I keep my stories and language, accurate. I’m the author of more than 20 books including four non-fiction and two of a very different genre published under a pen name.
I currently have three different series published:
Detectives Jack Rutherford and Amanda Lacey set in Croydon, south London.
Private investigator Chrissy Livingstone set in the upmarket areas of Surrey.
Amateur sleuth, mini-cab driver and part-time grave digger Will Peters, set in the Midlands.
There’s something for everyone!
A #1 Amazon bestselling author, I’ve been writing since 2011
My claims to fame include having a cuddle with Lee Child, sharing a New York cab with Heather Graham, and interviewing Karen Slaughter as a podcast guest.
Where There’s a Will is the first in a trilogy and sees Will Peters insert himself into the investigation of a young homeless man found dead in the woods. There’s a message written on his chest: Your Move. With the help of some of his elderly mini-cab customers, the unlikely group endeavor to solve the case, any way they can. With a serious message, it’s often amusing. Think Man on the Street and Thursday Murder Club rolled into one. I know you’ll enjoy it.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2023I read a lot of police, lawyer, serial killer, psychological type books. As well as women's fiction, mystery etc.
This series is just delightful. Will is an ordinary guy with a great heart. And he somehow finds himself in the middle of strange situations and ends up helping the police solve mysteries.
This is a great series for young readers, as there is no foul language or uncomfortable sexual content.
There's a wonderful cast of interesting characters and the story moves at a nice pace.
I will certainly be taking a look at other books by Linda Coles. Hope this is not the end of Will Peters!

- Reviewed in the United States on October 30, 2023Great trade. Towards the very end is when the pieces all fit together. Wonderfully written with just enough mystery to make you keep reading.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2024Family matters. And that's what this book is all about. Will has a wonderful little family, his wife Louise and four daughters, 6-year-old Poppy and 2-year-old triplets. All of his birth family was lost to him when he ran away from home at 15, leaving behind all the woes of his upbringing. Leaving behind his abusive parents, but unfortunately also his younger sisters. Entering into the life of the homeless Will learns patience and compassion and the true measure of a meaningful existence. He embraces that life before he finds his feet, and makes for himself a whole new productive and responsible life.
Now in his mid-thirties, Will has a comfortable existence with just enough time and money when mingled with his wife's salary providing treatments for cancer patients, and his many jobs. Shoe-horned around Louises' hospital shifts Will has time for caring for his young family, digging graves at a local cemetery, a little private investigation work, and driving a taxi. Between them, they can provide just what is needed to house, feed, educate, and nurture the family. But did Will underestimate the danger involved in his efforts to follow his curiosity into the investigation field? Certainly, lately.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 5, 2023I thought it was a good book. Not my favorite read this year, but not my least favorite either. The text takes some getting used to as it has different spelling filor words (England).
This book is one in a series of three (I believe). I have not read the others. It is a murder mystery with the main character finding a body. He gets involved in the investigation. Another body in another town is found, and Will, the main character learns it is his father. He has had no contact with him since he left home as a teenager. The two murders end up connected. Will and his a couple of his clients (he's a cab driver) try to solve figure out the first case. Will finds out some information about the family he walked out on. Dies he reconnect with his siblings and mother? Are they responsible for the murders?
- Reviewed in the United States on April 1, 2023While I have read other Linda Coles novels, this is the first of the Will Peters series I’ve enjoyed. It took me awhile to get into the book but once the story took hold it was hard to put down. This is not a one sitting read but one I rushed to get back to. Will finds a body in the brush around the cemetery while picking greens for a recently dug grave. And we are off! Will finds out about family members, friends and criminals with all the treads coming together by the end of the book. Linda Coles is a wonderful story teller and proves it again with this book which is well written and well developed. Will is one of those characters that becomes a friend by the end of the book. This is truly a quality read. I received an ARC of this book from Hidden Gems. This is my voluntary review.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the wait
It feels like I've waited ages for the latest Will Peters book but it was worth the wait and didn't disappoint. I won't give anything away, but this one was much more personal to Will. As ever, I liked and emphasised with all the characters and got to know them a little bit more. There's plenty of material left for another one and I'll be reading it as soon as it comes out. The only tiny thing I want to point out is that it wasn't The Beatles who sang Ferry Across the Mersey. Sorry! Thanks Linda for another thoroughly enjoyable read.

This is the third Will Peters book and I have enjoyed all of them. This one especially moved me and I look forward to reading more books from this author.
