Suspenseful and a second chance romance
This is soooooooo good. Its the second book in Savage Kings MC South Carolina series and its about Winston and Zoe. Winston is the VP. He's smokin' hawt and a perpetual grump. Zoe is the light to Winston's dark and just so happens to be his stepsister, whaaaat. Amazing characters, their chemistry is off the charts and even though they have been apart 10 years the spark is still there. This book has lots of heat between the sheets as well as suspense. You will not be disappointed and won't be able to put it down. I voluntarily received an ARC copy of this book and I have left my honest review.

The Savage Kings seek vengeance against the bad guys from book one of this series. Get ready for violence and bullets as some progress is made in their quest for justice.     This book is an excellent addition to the series. We have an mc taboo book and oh boy was it hot. Winston and Zoe have an tumultuous relationship. One big thing about these two is that they are step siblings. These two have one amazing, hot night but that is all they get. You know that saying that if you love someone set it free. Yeah only Winston becomes grumpy and Zoe loses trust in people. These two have guarded themselves and it shows. Winston never stays with one woman and Zoe throws herself into work. So when she comes back home, can Winston finally come clean. I love Zoe cause she calls him out on his BS and it is a bit funny. Overall I loved this book because of the chemistry and banter between these two. I really enjoyed this book.

    There is a trigger warning in the beginning of the book, and I applaud you both for this.
    It's nice to understand why Winston acts the way he does, and the relationship with Zoe is interesting. I love their HEA too. But what I really loved about this book is the circumstances that lead into the backstory arc for the series. We're beginning to see justice served up Savage Kings style. I can't wait to read Verek's story, and I'm absolutely cool with where his head is at the end of this book. I'm crossing my fingers that he can help Tessa heal, and if it means that she needs to see it through, then so be it.

    For me I found this to be an enjoyable story but not one of my favorites. I did really enjoy the characters but I felt the story could have used a bit more drama. As always I do like the continuation of the story from the previous books with addition to the other characters. Even though this was not a five-star read for me again I did enjoy it and I'm definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.

    Ten years later and Zoe’s career had not gone to plan. A personal appearance at the Kings Harley dealership brings her back to Myrtle Beach and Winston. A further job opportunity and a total fluke sees Zoe providing much needed answers the MC have been looking for.
    Wow! A gripping, well written enemies to lovers storyline. Book two of this MC series does not disappoint. An absorbing story with familiar faces and an improvement to Winston’s demenor. Fantastic! (Ideally recommended to read after book one, Roman).

    I am really enjoying this series by such a great duo Lane and West. I have previously loved Lane’s series but this,one is my fav. In this story, Winston and Zoe Are characters we’ve read about here and there in previous books. They are step siblings but not by blood. Winston’s mother married her Zoe’s father. Once Zoe started to grow into a young woman, Winston was aware he was having for her. Zoe always had feelings for Winston and those feelings were definitely were not brotherly. Zoe leaves for 10 years to peruse her modelling career. Winston acts unimpressed but his feelings are real and before long, he is going to act on them.

    Didn't know how it would work book two being Winston and not Vereks story. Thinking Vereks would be continuing on from Tessas kidnapping storyline.
    But, Well done tied it up with a lovely Bloody bow now really looking forward to reading Vereks tale.
    (Loved recognising the name Harry Cox and Dirty Angels cos I've read all of that series so far)

    I know Family-Sister/Stepsister can be a taboo subject but well wrote, believable characters
