    This book truly gripped me throughout. You get to know the people you're reading about. Thought provoking. I didn't want to put the book down. I had to find out what happened next. I've read a lot of Daniel Hurst books, but this is the first book I've read by Mark Hurst. I have found a new author that I really like. My next book will be another by Mark. Easy read. Do yourself a favor and read this book. If your anything like me and love psychological thrillers that you can sink your teeth into this is the book for you. Thank you Mark Hurst for the hours of enjoyment.

    I’m not sure this book all comes together in the end. I’m missing the conclusion and it wasn’t intriguing enough for me to reread. They leave several characters without finished endings and the prologue never even gets mentioned in the book. I would not recommend this book!

    I read this book over the holidays and found it enthralling! I learned of this author as I read his son Daniel Hurst’s incredible psychological thrillers. The book tells the story of love, lies, deception, and the ripple effect on several families lives. Paul is the main character of this novel, a man whose selfishness adversely affects so many who love him, plus the complicated history of his second wife. Everything begins to unravel, based on a DNA test done for fun by the new bride. I highly recommend it!

    This is a gripping story very relevant to today's world of IVK, sperm donors and DNA. It homes in on the coincidences, problems and complications that could relate to any of these situations. There are unexpected twists and turns along the the way. Nearly at the end the narrative builds up to what I expected to be another twist, but instead the book ends abruptly. But for this little disappointment I would have given it 5 stars.
    However, well worth reading. The writing style is excellent.
