Celia is a character who has been in the background of all of the previous books in the series. She is the personal chef for the Whiskey Mountain Lodge and is known for her excellent cooking and her nurturing spirit. She is one of my favorite characters and I was delighted that she was getting her chance at a happily-ever-after in this book but it was not without its challenges. Celia had to walk the aisle with the best man at her best friend's wedding. There was an instant attraction between them but with a closer look she realized that Zach was her deceased husband's former best friend--and he was still quite handsome even 25 years after she last saw him. The men had lost touch when she married her husband because of a feud between her family and Zach's that had been going on for generations. This story deals with the challenges of finding love a second time and with the theme of forgiveness. It had a few really sad moments where I shed a few tears but it also was quite romantic and I really loved the story! Highly recommend! I was entrusted with a copy of this book by the author and this is my voluntary and honest review.

Love the second time around is worth the extra work.
This is a book well worth reading. Celia has raised her daughters alone and is now ready to make a new life for herself. The problem is the man that catches her interest is the one man she should ignore. Zach has been single for 15 yrs and suddenly a woman's eyes draw him in and when he realizes who it is he knows he should run. Their families have been feuding for 100 years and Cupid will have his hands full if he plans on matching these two up. This book is full of love as Celia and Zach trace down exactly what started the feud and try to get the families to forgive and forget. Their grown children have love lives that seem to be springing to life and their own love keeps going topsy-turvey. Throw in a bunch of newborns and family of the heart and you will be falling in love your self. In love with the story of course.
