Dr. Jesús A. Sampedro
He holds a Doctorate of Strategic Leadership (DSL) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Regent University in Virginia, USA. He also holds a bachelor's degree in Commercial Administration and a Certificate in Foreign Trade, both from the Universidad de Carabobo in Venezuela. He is a Leadership Coach Trainer certified by the organization Lifeforming Leadership Coaching (USA). He is also an endorsed facilitator for the Personal Leadership Program "OPTIMIZARE" in Venezuela by the Ibero-American University of Leadership (UNILID). He is a Career-Direct (Crown) Certified Career Consultant. He has worked in marketing in financial and urban development organizations. He has been a speaker, instructor/facilitator, coach, and consultant on topics related to management and leadership for various international audiences including: USA, England, Dubai, Australia, Czech Republic, Singapore, Trinidad, Peru, Guatemala, Ecuador, among many others. The training provided has reached supervisory, managerial, and executive levels in various educational, governmental, non-profit, and especially corporations such as Bridgestone/Firestone, Kraft Mondelez, Burger King, and Lincoln Electric, among others. He researches and publishes in various media specialized on the same topics. He is the author and co-author of many books, including: "A Leadership Framework for Transformation"; “Character: The Leader’s Key Performance Indicator0"; "Inspiracion para Liderar"; "Código de Honor"; among others. He has hosted weekly radio programs on leadership since 2009 and is the producer of the podcast "Liderazgo Expansivo con el Dr. Jesús Sampedro". As an undergraduate and graduate professor, he has taught the subjects of Leadership, International Trade, International Market Research, and Organizational Behavior at Regent University (Virginia, USA), MACU (Oklahoma, USA), and Universidad de Carabobo (Carabobo, Venezuela). He was also an invited professor at the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administracion (IESA) business school. He is currently an Associate Professor and Program Director for the Master of Arts in Leadership degree at Mid-America Christian University (MACU). He is the founder and director of the leadership training, coaching, and consulting firm Leadershift - Global Leadership Consulting. He has actively held various community roles such as student leader, member of the International Leadership Association (ILA), and member of boards of directors of organizations such as CBMC International, CPEC Latin America, the Carabobo State Executive Association, and International Coach Federation (ICF) Arkansas-Oklahoma Chapter, among others.
