A Dark Horizon (Final Dawn, Book 3) Kindle Edition
The Earth is a husk, humanity is long extinct and Charon has used his stolen Solar Core to harvest Proxima Delta’s star, dooming its populated system. The crew of the Adeona are divided – Jack thinks they should keep fighting, but Rogan and Brackitt just want to lay Tuner to rest in Detri.
By going their separate ways, Jack gets the chance to testify before the Ministry. But their bureaucracy is almost as exhausting as the hitman sent to kill him, and time is running out. Jack and Klik are left to unravel a new and even greater conspiracy alone.
Can Jack stop Charon from creating his singularity? Or will the temptation to see Amber again prove too great?

- Reviewed in the United States on July 19, 2021This was a fantastic series. I hate that it’s over! Really great characters and a super fun storyline. Take time to read this series you’ll be glad you did!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 13, 2020Easy read that kept you interested in the characters and story. Always rooting for the main character to pull throughout.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 21, 2021Quick Disclosure: I am a member of the author’s reader’s group on Facebook and I redeemed the ebook code for free, along with the first and second books. I also received the prequel story Before the Dawn, which ultimately sold me on getting physical copies of the three main books. With that said, here is my review.
The third book feels like a fitting conclusion to this three-part saga. The writing remains engaging, the action is excellent, and it leaves the reader satisfied while still providing enough of a hook for book 4.
Overall enjoyment: Five stars and eagerly looking forward to the next book!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 18, 2021Absolutely amazing find. I have KE, so a lot of books are free for me, but I went back and bought these when I was done. Cannot wait for the rest of the series!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Another 5*
'It was about as smart as driving up the beaches of Normandy in a Mini Cooper.'
The Autonoma have had enough, and want to go home. 'Why should they fight to save "fleshies?"'
With Jack left alone with only the reptilian Klik for company they get caught up in the wake of a stolen star, a collapsing galaxy, and an off the rails human who will do anything (including ripping a hole in an entire system) to get back to Earth.
This series keeps getting better and better!
The more we read about Jack, his team of Autonoma and now Klik, the more invested we become. They're a fantastic bunch of characters, on a beautifully crafted world, that have carved a perilous journey of heroism for themselves.
Such a brilliant series 👏

4.0 out of 5 stars Ridiculously enjoyable
With its stereotypical evil scientists and impossibly human-like robots, this trilogy should be junk. In some ways it is. But it's a great Saturday morning cinema romp of an epic if you're prepared to ignore the obvious travesties of common sense, the myriad deus ex machina, and take it as it is.
Part way into book one I thought I was going to hate it - but not longer after that I was sitting back with my popcorn and enjoying the ride. It's actually quite well-written by an experienced author, and - to put it simply - it's fun.

5.0 out of 5 stars Imaginative Series
Well drawn and interesting characters. The story continues the fast paced adventures of Jack and his friends in very imaginative universe. I thoroughly enjoyed this book (as I did the previous two in the series) and would highly recommend it to someone who wants to try something a little different from the run of the mill SciFi.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great characters
Just finished the series. Not perfect by any means, yet very enjoyable. His characters are well written and remind me of early comic book heroes and villains. Loved the robots (forgive me I meant automatons) who are oddly more 'human' than many of the humans in the stories.

4.0 out of 5 stars Rattles Along Quite nicely
Another book in the series, more adventures and odd characters in a grubby scrapyard of a universe. Will look forward to the next one.
