    This is a great addition to the short stories about the Vaxxlian . These strong, caring, devoted alien men are searching for humans to mate with in order to keep their species alive. Even though the stories are short they are filled with great characters and strong emotions.
    Fynd's face is scarred because of a fighting his past. He has learned that no woman will look at him without thinking he is a monster. When he hears about a human slave being sold, he goes to the planet to purchase her. He thinks that hopefully she will be grateful for being free and will agree to be his mate, even if only as friends.
    Lucy has been a slave for five years. When a huge man purchases her, she thinks that he will be angry and punish her like her other masters did. However, he seems kind and caring. She looks past his scars to see the real person inside. Can he help her find the sisters she lost when they were enslaved too?

    Lucy has been a slave for 5 ears. When she is bought by Fynd she just hopes he is a good master. However, in a last ditch effort she tries to escape but he is too big and strong for her. She is waiting for her punishment that never happens.
    Fynd needs to find a human bride to bring back to his new planet to help populate his planet. He buys Lucy but feels kind of bad about it. For a few reasons- he is against slavery and he has scars that most women do not like. He fears rejection. What will happen when he tells Lucy that she will be his mate
