    Anarchy Chained: Alpha Thomas is the third book in the SuperAlpha Series and although it might be the conclusion to this chapter of the story, make no mistake there is still more to be told.

    From the very first book, Thomas has been this cold character. Emotionless... until Case happens and knocks Thomas through a loop, stripping him of his ability to close himself off to who he was altered to be. But since the end of Case’s book, we start off with Thomas locked away in an asylum, and a new heroine (or maybe anti-heroine) whose mission is all but forgotten when she gets her first taste of Thomas’s real power.

    Now, I’m not going to say more about this story – because, for one, I’m still reeling and I’m honestly a little lost and a tiny bit confused. This is one of those books where it has to have time to sink in, marinate.

    Going into a JA Huss story, I know a few things for certain. 1) It’s going to be a fantastic story, 2) I am not going to have a clue as to what is coming but when it comes, I’ll be blown away and 3) Nothing that you expects, happens.

    With Anarchy Chained, I admit that I was utterly lost as to what was happening through about 99% of the story. I just went with it. I let go and put my trust into the author, knowing that I’d be told and explained the things I needed to know when the time was right. This certainly is not a story to read when you’re distracted, it will take all your brain power.

    I loved the characters, I loved the twist to Thomas’s character and I adored Sadie. There was this toughness about her, but this also very genuine vulnerability that allowed me to give her my trust almost instantly. She was simply a pawn in a very twisted game. But there is this moment where I felt a bit of sadness well up inside me – it was short lived, as I got the answers to my questions a few chapters later – but man, did that mess with my head. Here I am lost in this crazy story, trying to hold on and pay attention and BAM, I get hit with emotions, and I’m probably just a sap – but I have a feeling that my reactions were because the author intentionally wanted me to feel like that. JAH is just that good at what she does.

    So if you are on the fence about this series. If you are like, but I don’t like superhero movies, except for the eye candy – but I like romance and I like great stories – well check out this series. And as much as each book can be read out of order, I recommend sticking to the order of release (Lincoln, Case then Thomas).

    Another stellar release from JA Huss, who proves that the heroes come in all forms, even a little villainous and all sorts of erotic.

    Have you read Anarchy Found and Anarchy Missing yet because it's time for Anarchy Chained and it was mind splitting.

    'They don’t call them Alphas for nothing.'

    Thomas is calculating, he makes plans. He always seems a little mad, a little disconnected, a little outside. He's a Mentalist, he can get into your mind. He's a level ten.

    'Capturing the memories of dead people is a side effect of my superpower.'

    Sadie is young. She's tough as nails. She's an illusionist. She can make you see anything. She's a level ten.

    'I never fail. That’s why they only take me out for special occasions.'

    'They' who's they? I really want to know why 'they' are.

    Oh, the twists we speed through and the characters we meet in this final part of the trilogy are spectacular. We, of course, spend time with Bike Boy, Gun Girl, Deep Cut, Lady Liberty and Sheila so let's add Mental Man and Trip Chick to the fun. Let's add Red Robber to the destruction.

    The clock is ticking and the final part of the plan to take back the city is in place. Now it's a race between good and evil to the finish line. The real question is who's good and who's evil.

    'I’m Sullivan, sweet Sadie.'

    Hop on the train to find out. Superheroes are my favorite so this series checks all my boxes for entertainment. It's full of suspense and you have to pay attention to all the details. I love that!

    Anarchy Chained is Thomas' story and the final installment of the Super Alphas saga. Leave it to JA Huss to leave the twistiest and most shocking for last. It's everything I love about Found and Missing set on "Blast". Kinky superheroes with imaginable powers. Strong women with powers all their own. Soulmates. Danger. Intrigue. And a caper that will leave you guessing until the last pages. The climax will leave you shaking and spent - and your hard all squishy and content. Thomas Brooks is the Super Alphas' mastermind. In a team of genius alphas - he's their ringleader and alphahole. But is he an evil genius? They jury's still out on that. Not even Linc and Case are quite sure, but it's all good as far as they're concerned.
    Until Thomas disappears.
    Anarchy Chained opens with Thomas' spectacular escape from the new and improved Cathedral City Asylum. You see he had a mental break when his meds, and superpowers got knocked off kilter, thanks to the run in with the Blue Boar. He started collecting the memories of dead people. All the dead people. And they wouldn't shut up. The strange thing is his escape is masterminded by Sadie - but thanks to the memory loss that she suffers when Thomas lets his superpower off the chain there's no way to know whether she's friend or foe. Is she helping Linc and Case? Is she Prodigy? Or something even more nefarious?
    Thomas is a level 10 mentalist. He can unleash the power of his mind, and the brain blast can kill people. But Sadie survives because she is an illusionist - she can manipulate the perceptions of others making them she her as she's wishes them to. Talk about a master of disguise. Designed by the prodigy School to complement the powers of a mentalist, their minds fit together and strengthen each other. It's a truly symbiotic relationship. Does anyone else see the true beauty in this? The ultimate super couple's powers consist of screwing with your head and perceptions of reality masterfully. Sounds like an author I know and love.
    Anarchy Chained is another JA Huss E-ticket ride. But this time it's way worse than a rollercoaster. It's the most malevolent fun house ever. Not even the mentalist and illusionist can quite sort out what's going on. Nothing is as it seems and there's danger at every turn. Friendship betray and friendship affirmed. And surprises - huge, kinky surprises. Leave it to Julie to create a totally mind blowing twist on menage. Last button emphatically pushed.
    The whole idea of mixing superhero fantasy and angsty, erotic romance makes me giddy. And squirmy and hot under the collar (and other places). Couple that with Ms. Huss' talent for crafting insanely complex capers with teams full of sexy, honorable conflicted heroes, and you have one of the most brilliant, fresh, unique and entertaining reads in romance today. And like all the best superhero canons - the story isn't quite over. I can't wait to find out what Atticus has been up to.

    What an explosive ending to this wonderful trilogy. Thomas always was the greatest brain challenge and less understood. This is his fractured story. Mind blowing and tortured. Sadie an illusionist and some. Can't help felling sorry for Sullivan who is part of Thomas, and also the way Sadie became a slave to other people's desires and dreams, thanks to her abilities. Comic strip with a punch. Such imagination and descriptive writing, allows the reader to become one almost of the Alpha's. Good rules over Evil, but Evil is beyond wicked. Pure Anarchy, is finished for now, so many questions, Yasmine, Isiah, Molly, Lulu, and of course Shelia? Who knows. Great story great novels, great author.
