5.0 out of 5 stars Gives an up, close and personal experiences with Shri Mataji
A must read for all those who already have or desire to take the enlightened path of Sahaja Yoga. The book shares very subtle, yet powerful instances of the majestic nature and powers of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, who also happens to be the greatest spiritual Guru of our meta modern times. Never before has the world witnessed an Advent of a Divine personality, that which gently encompasses the numerous roles of a Mother, a wife, a grandmother, a teacher and a primordial Guru, integrated into one delicately looking human body.
Thank you dear John for making us a part of your spiritual journey!

Joyful, entertaining and profound!
This is a wonderfully written book.
His vivid story telling transports you to another realm. I had many laugh out loud moments, especially in the ‘Ducks and an Ostrich’ chapter. Then moments of depth, such as in ‘Regarding Joy’.
The paintings and photographs that decorate the pages add a further layer of beauty and wonder.
This book is a rare gem. If you’re on a spiritual journey, I highly recommend reading this because it may well open up your world in the most profound of ways and provide answers you’ve been searching for.

5.0 out of 5 stars The experience of someone who spent a long time with Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi
The author spent a long time in many different houses of Shri Mataji and thus spent a long time in her presence. This means he received a lot of love and attention from her personally and developed a deep state of meditation and sensitivity to vibrations. He contributed an enormous amount of work towards various building projects of Sahaja Yoga. In the process the author become an expert in the art of decoration, cornice plaster work, bathroom design, wallpapering and all of this according to the unique style of Shri Mataji's creation. From Shri Mataji he was very lucky to learn how to create artistic environments full of beauty and vibrations. Shri Mataji was an expert in these areas and the author became one of her topmost students. This book is full of humour and subtlety and gives us an idea of what it was like spending time at Shri Mataji's home, and how She operated on a spontaneous creative way and how Shri Mataji was at the same time a master of Yoga and a master of building projects. The author saw how hard Shri Mataji worked and he became likewise, someone capable of working continuously with great ease and detachment. All the while Shri Mataji was teaching the subtle aspects of Sahaja Yoga to those around her and the author had many years to imbibe her teachings directly from Her. This book is full of important insights.

5.0 out of 5 stars Authentic and Humerous
I enjoyed these short refections of John's time as a Golden Builder. He is a close friend and knowing him since 1986, it also awakened some emotion in me.
Many of the incidents are stories he used to talk about it's great that he finally published them for everyone to enjoy.
