    Have been reading this series and have to say, it's a wonderful adventure with unexpected twists and turns. In attempting to not provide any spoilers, this is the continuation of the adventures of Mayla and her friends, family and the magic that binds them all. The covens represent different facets of magic and the requirement of each working together including one type of magic that was initially shunned. Mayla finds her way, her inner strength and a bond with another that provided her with what maybe the greatest gift ever. This is a wonderful telling of fire, water, earth, air and metal and what could happen if these elements work together or choose not to. Every moment of this story can bring the reader into a world we may wish existed while being able to relate to every character. Very difficult to write this without spoilers because there is so much more to this story and the gift is being able to discover what happens and how. Magic, chocolate, partnerships, unexpected twists, this series has it all. Highly suggested!!
