Axall: Vaxxlian Alien Mail Order Brides #4 Kindle Edition

4.5 out of 5 stars 253 ratings

He won't leave Earth without her.

After awakening from cryosleep, Rachel struggles to find her place in a strange new world. Earth isn't the way she remembers it. Not even close. For starters, humans have made contact with real live aliens. Before she can wrap her head around all the changes, a bossy Vaxxlian warrior shows up in her bedroom claiming to be her mate. She tries to send him away, but the alien in question is as stubborn as he is tall. He also looks infuriatingly good without his clothes on...

Axall has never believed in fate or love at first sight. That is, until he meets Rachel --the petite human female with soulful blue eyes and dark, wavy hair who stirs up his protective side. One glance and he's completely smitten with the headstrong woman who incites his most primal desires. He's determined to capture her heart and take her back to planet New Vaxx.

Despite Rachel's assertion that they aren't compatible, Axall keeps trying to woo her, and if he doesn't stop making those sexy growling noises, she just might lose her resolve. But no. It would never work--she has responsibilities on Earth she can't abandon, even if she is starting to fall for the hunky green-eyed alien with the heart of gold...

I found this book thoroughly entertaining and that I couldn't put it down until I finished it. I'm a fast reader but had no problem following along with it and never missed anything. Highly recommend it to those who love all the different Aliens. Let's hope of and when they decide to come to Earth, our illustrious leaders do nothing to harm them.

Sixty years ago in a tragic accident, Rachel lost her entire family.
Feeling that her life was over, she decided to sign up for an experimental cyro-sleep study where she would sleep for 60 years.
Instead of feeling like a long time had past, it still felt like her family had all just died.
She had promised the cyro-lab she'd be available for tests and updates on how she was feeling.
There were whispers that some of the subjects were not having as good of responses as she was.
Rachel had gotten a job for away from big cities so she could meditate and stay sane.
So when a huge alien arrives and tells her that she is his chosen mate, things get weird fast!
She hadn't been awake when the world was contacted and she CERTAINLY hadn't signed up as a Mail Order Bride!
Great story! Twists and more twists and you get to sn amazing end.
You won't want to miss it!

Axall and Rachel's story is sweet, romantic and full of intrigue. Rachel is still trying to acclimate herself to her world after spending 75 years in a cryo sleep program. Earth is in conflict with violence daily. Axall shows up after being matched with her under the Vaxxlian Mail Order Bride Program, unbeknownst to her. She fights the attraction to Axall thinking she had an obligation to the cryo sleep company. Then they kidnapped her and she realized her feelings for Axall and that she underestimated the evil in the company. Thankfully she is saved by her alien and they get their happily ever after.

I realize Rachel did. It sign up for the Vaxxlian Alien Mail Order Bride program but considering he situation with Cryogenic Z she was whiny, weak and ungrateful. She choose to bury her grief at the loss of her family leaving herself open for 75 years to a megalomaniac organization who planned to experiment in her for the rest of her life. Axxal should have just opted out for another bride. He attempted to romance her and protect her but she acted like a naive 21 year old. I wish Karla could have become young from the nanobots!

Rachel is a heroine with a refreshing attitude. Sure she could bag the big, badass alien, but is it the best thing for everyone else, including his family/people? In a era of "me first," her selflessness won my heart. It takes a pretty special guy to stick with a woman like her. And Axall knows he's not perfect. Can he do it? You'll have to read this book to find out!
