Amethyst Kiss Kindle Edition

3.6 out of 5 stars 34 ratings

She fell in love with a vampire only to become bonded to his cruel twin brother.

After a failed attempt on her life leaves twenty-one year old Violet bonded to Ruben, the vampire Jory's brutal twin, she is forced to live with Ruben or die from separation sickness.

But Violet is sure she'll die from sheer boredom instead. Ruben ignores her, shutting himself in his office to research a rare supernatural creature that might be a mere myth.

Ruben swears he hates Violet as he pines for a lost love. And Violet still lusts after Jory, the gentler of the twins. Is there a chance any of them will get a happily ever after? The key lies in Ruben's tragic past and the creature he seeks.

Then the werewolves show up.

Amethyst Kiss is told entirely in third person. (There is no switching between third and first.)

The front drew me in first since it's so pretty. The story was pretty good with vampire Brothers and other stuff that I can't spoil. Its short but so worth it.

This is definitely an interesting take on vampires. It ends with an HEA for everyone which is nice because I was expecting a turn of events and switching sides. I liked how the story developed even if it was a short steamy read. The only downside is that it was challenging to figure out the point of view of some chapters. It saw it go from first to third person and at times when I had to figure it out, it took away from the story. First time reading Jennifer Tirrell and I would try another from her as well. She definitely has potential to write some great concepts!

Well written. Fast paced and nice plot without unnecessary complication. Sex scenes are hot and fun. Some Vampire lore that's new to me (don't read many vampire romances) that make the scenes spicier and more fun. Definitely recommend.

What starts out as a vampire retelling of Beauty and the Beast twists into an exciting set up for a second book! Lore, love, and plot twists! Very spicy!

Jennifer Tirrells' "Amethyst Kiss" was far from lacking in spice. The fmc falls in love with a vampire, only to become bonded to his cruel twin brother. Enjoyable short read, although I occasionally got a little lost in the flow.
