    I had actually picked up the first book in this set long ago and really enjoyed it. So when I saw the bundle at this amazing price I jumped on it. Each book is a stand alone. But reading them in order gives you the back story on some aspects as things unfold.
    The stories revolve around four (4) sisters that have lost their mother by suicide a number of years back. They all live in their 300 year old house that has been in the family since the days of pirates. Each sister has a special and unique paranormal talent. As the stories unfold they have to learn how to hone their skills and work together to solve various murders and mysteries.
    Needless to say things are not always as they seem. There is a bad cop in town that always seems out to get them. We eventually find out what his true evil purpose is. Their mother's suicide was not what it appeared. There are great guys that become love interests. And of course there is Belladonna the cat. It's clear that Belladonna is more than just a cat as she helps the sisters in many ways thru the stories. And she shows up in the oddest of places and completely out of the blue to help save the day.
    I do hope that perhaps one day we'll get the true backstory on Belladonna. I have a sneaking suspicion that she is more likely a witch's familiar.

    Any setting by the ocean soothes my soul. This series, about four sisters, who've just discovered their supernatural abilities, while all living In their 24 room ancestral mansion on the coast. Each book focuses on one sister navigating through life, following the career path perfectly chosen for her supernatural gift, and falling In love. Of course they will be fighting off modern day pirates and an evil billionaire scientist who wants to steal their powers for his own crooked reasons. There is also a happy surprise at the end. I fell in love with each character and the story as a whole. I'm getting ready to read book 6.

    This series is totally awesome. You will love the four sisters, each unique in her own way. The storylines are fantastic and you will not be able to put the book down until you finish. Each book gets better and better plus you get to learn more about the different sisters and their unique "qualities." Their family history is really historical going back several generations. The setting is beautiful and makes you want to go there and experience it. Cannot say enough good things about this book set.

One can stop AR book 5 or continue on. I'd like to see one or more of them marry the love if their life instead of having a boyfriend until they die. Just an opinion. They're A Family because their Mom and Dad got married and had a family. There's always something positive to say about future generations.

    The characters, storylines are entertaining reading. Paranormal activity was introduced slowly and believable. Aso, importantly to me details about the characters remain the same. In some continuing storylines I've read eye and hair color change among other things that make no sense and take away from the enjoyment. I'm very excited to continue the series and hope to follow the sisters lives for along time to come.

    i did like the characters although at times it felt a bit "i've seen this before" but i got absolutely fed up with the sheriff popping up and accusing the sisters only to be rousted by their lawyer. the escaping cat seemed to have no point to it other than finding clues. this should be an enjoyable light read, but i just wasn't in the mood for the problems.
