Sarah Arrow discovered business blogging and social media by accident. It helped rescue her failing transport business from the credit crunch. Sarah believes there is an alternative to cold calling; it's called writing blog posts. This has led her on the path to becoming a leading visibility consultant and blogging expert.

This led her to creating Birds on the Blog, winning awards and doing fun things (like meeting Tony Robbins, Karren Brady, Guy Kawasaki plus Martha Stewart even invited her to a party). Sarah is one of the few professional business bloggers that have learned blogging from the ground up, by promoting offline services as well as bricks and mortar businesses. Her experience is priceless to many other small business owners and entrepreneurs just like you.

Sarah knows that business blogging isn't out of the reach of everyday entrepreneurs, that you can reach your target markets easily with little resistance. Hence, her Kindle guides on business visibility. She's also organised free blogging challenges since 2007 and has helped thousands of other bloggers to kick start their blog and gain more business. That's right, you read that correctly - you can join Sarah's blogging challenge and get trained for free!

Married to Kevin, her childhood sweetheart, as well as being mum to three beautiful daughters, Jessica, Kira and Jasmine, grandma to the super cute grandbaby.

Sarah lives in Essex (close to London), enjoys watching sci-fi films, The Good Wife, Frasier, Burn Notice, and being with her family. She can be frequently updating her blog. See you there xx

“How to write 37 different types of blog post” will give you useful information about the types of blog posts that work and their reason for why you’ll have success. You will also understand how to get the best results using the type of blog posts that you chose.
If you want to know how to avoid blogging mistakes, or how to plan your blog’s content, I recommend reading Sarah Arrow’s book. This was already the third or fourth book I have read by this author. After reading each one of her books I always told myself… Sarah Arrow is a “blogging Encyclopedia”.
Reading the book and seeing such a well-organized list with all 37 types of posts, I suddenly felt that I will never have another “writer’s block” moment. My mind can temporary be “blocked” by one, two, or three subjects but… for sure not all 37 types.
To conclude, I recommend this book to anyone who is serious about blogging, no matter if you have been blogging for a long or short time. A special recommendation is addressed directly to all beginner bloggers. I know how it is to start in this field; I know how hard it is to track the good information down on all aspects you will encounter. Reading this book will provide you an abundance of valuable knowledge and more than this, you will have all you need in a single source.

I've been blogging for at least a decade or more and I still found exceptionally helpful nuggets of information inside How to Write 37 Different Types of Blog Posts. I heavily highlighted areas to return to for a new blog I'm starting this month. The thing is, not every post type fits your audience. Ms. Arrow focuses on getting you to really think about who you are writing for. I kept my newest blog idea in mind, along with the audience who will likely be reading it, as I worked through Ms. Arrow's book. It helped me pick out the best post types and formats for creating a content calendar that will really resonate with my prospective readers.

37 Blog Posts is a quick read, with helpful and timely information any blogger - beginner or seasoned - can use to get more readers, more traffic, more social shares, and even more sales!

Sarah's book is an excellent quick read resource that will be especially useful to those who consider themselves non-writers and are inexperienced with pumping out good content on a regular basis. Even though, I've been in writing and publishing business myself for years (since 1971!) I enjoyed the tidbits and examples Sarah shares.

Ideas are very good. But, not so structured at all.I felt there should be summary after each chapters.i hope, Sarah should look into this

This got me thinking about my target audience. Having three different blogs with three different target audiences I really need to think about how to reach all of them the best possible way. This book gives me clear guidelines on that - yay :)
Now I just have start thinking and planning even more carefully about the blog posts.

So much useful information packed into these pages including many links and references. This is a must read for anyone keen to improve their blogging and give their reader a better reading experience.
I am keen to work on the case study as Sarah makes it sound as though it could be useful to my niche, it is something I have struggled with in the past but I think now is the time to move on this.
The call to action section is brilliant, this is often something I couldn't quite get my head round and I guess I was one of those whose considered it as selling but it is explained here in an easy to understand manner. I now realise that the reader needs to be led and encouraged to do something at the end of the post.
Thanks for writing this book Sarah it really goes hand in hand with the 30 Day Blogging Challenge which I found invaluable.

I've just picked up Sarah's latest book and once again I am thrilled, even on the first read i have picked up new ideas and more importantly found more blogs I should be following.

Sarah's ability to share knowledge and provide live examples of how it should be done make this a must have for anyone with a blog and an absolute necessity for anyone without one, why? Because it is Sarah's belief that blogs are no longer a nice to have!!

Each suggestion comes with an example of how it has been done well, I particularly love the guide post suggestions. We all want to learn from our reading and by providing detailed and well researched guide posts that will ensure people keep coming back.

This is a resource book, a bloggers bible if you like - filled with things I will come back to again and again

Not a bad collection of ideas, but it is just that! A collection of blog posts. With poor formatting once moved to the kindle.

Given the previous reviews I expected a bit more. Some extra insight, or more content actually in the book. Links to other sites can be really useful, assuming you have an Internet connection, but so often when reading I don't. Or they should be collected at the end of the chapters (well sections really) as extra reading.

Having completed Sarah Arrow's Blogging Challenge I was really pleased to see Sarah had written a further book on this subject and eagerly downloaded it. It did not disappoint. Just after the first few chapters I was writing copious notes, having been given a plethora of ideas for blogs I've yet to write. The Call to Action chapter is particularly useful. This book is packed with lots of tips and useful suggestions. An absolute must for any newbie or even more seasoned bloggers wanting to target their audience better. Highly recommended.
